Great video Rob! Always super useful and helpful. Indeed, anybody looking to improve their Bodyboarding should jump on your website and book a lesson or even better, a holiday. I'm still grinning from El Salvador a few years back. 😁 Hopefully see you guys again in 2024!
Want to give you the biggest kudos for making these videos, and how each video you make seems to eclipse previous iterations in terms of production values and content focus. I believe this may be one of the only videos on TH-cam (the only one I've ever seen anyway) to directly address the progression between jump launch without fins and paddling out. As a relative noob who was stuck in jump launch for a long time, there is either little or straight up no content that deals with leveling up from those very early stages. Can't wait to get some in person lessons from your team this year. And although nobody may be becoming millionaires from creating bodyboard content, the value you provide with these is massive for someone like me who has been looking for low-level instructions online and generally coming up empty handed. And then the fact that someone in ten years in the same boat could stumble upon this and tangibly level their game up, that's pretty freaking cool. In terms of some other video topics that may be of interest to the less experienced set, and complementary to the video you made about dealing with wiping out, a video about some of the broadstroke risks and challenges of being deeper in the water, important swimming/safety preparation, and learning to live with wiping out would all be very interesting, but that may be better too general and off topic. Either way keep doing what you're doing, the content is amazing and I hugely appreciate that it exists 🙏👊
Thank you for your kind words. We are totally stoked that you find the video and our channel useful. We love nothing more sharing our passion of bodyboarding with everyone else. We can't wait to share some waves with you next month. ✈ 🏝 😎 🌊 Thank's for the video suggestions!
Great video Rob, really high quality and detailed content which will be massive help to those starting out. Looking forward to seeing some on moving to the next level and some simple tricks in this new slick style - very well done
Thank you so much! Been dreaming about this, got my first bodyboard and am about to head out into the waves. Thank you for the pointers! I'll see you on the other side! 🤙
Well done, that's great advice. Keeping it simple without any technical jargon beginners wouldn't understand. Haven't been bodyboarding in year's. Bought a few battails off you years ago. I'm going to get out over the Christmas hopefully in Co Clare Ireland. Build my self back onto the beach first then back to the reefs. I've forgotten how much fun it used to be. An injury had me ending up fishing for bass and watching people surf and bodyboard. Two enjoyable pass time's
Hey, thanks for reaching out. It's great to hear that our tips are helping you progress with your bodyboarding. We already have videos on our TH-cam channel about waxing boards and flippers... Check them out!
A 3/2 you would use in the warmer summer months, whilst the 4/3 is more for spring or autumn. 4/3 can be used in to the winter as well, as long as it's not too cold.
Very comprehensive list of all things needed to get out there and enjoy the waves! Great work Bodyboard Holidays!!! 🤙🏼
Thanks Chris. 🙏 Hope you've been scoring some waves lately. 🌊
Im out here in Maui embarrassing my self on the board, and im loving every minute of it

Great video after a nice tip guess motivation runs much stronger :)
So true!
Great stuff
Thanks!
I wish I knew all these tips when I was starting out.
✌
What the difference between 4/3 and 3/2 wetsuit ??
A 3/2 you would use in the warmer summer months, whilst the 4/3 is more for spring or autumn. 4/3 can be used in to the winter as well, as long as it's not too cold.
@Ali.spr-h - I'm pretty sensitive to cold water and I use a 4/3 suit when it's 55F(13C) - 65F(18C)
Buy x buy y buy z. For beginners?
👍🏻
Watching the video bought only a body board I will go like that without a swim suit I think it’s fair
Have fun and let us know how you get on!
How is he on such a big wave if it’s only supposed to be waist deep?
Waves break over shallow surfaces not deeper waters.
The Bodyboard companies CEOs are millionaires, Tom Morey rings a bell.
🤔
I don't understand either lol
Cool story?
Want a cookie
Or a sandwich?… lmao
I'll have both pls @@LopakaSanchez
@@LopakaSanchezno thanks fatty
