    Fantastic video. I learned to sup surf on a 11' isup and this brought me back to that. A 6" all-around rail and flexing rocker feel so different from the responsiveness of a hardboard. Good times. The videographer keeps getting better on each video. Kudos.

    Thank you very much for demonstrating that you can surf with it, I was reluctant to buy it for that reason but when i saw that it can be used for surfing as well am more relieved

    great video and iSup is a wonderful toy to play in waves and stay active all the time regardless of the size of the waves

    Enjoyed your vid. Had a day with no roof racks so had to use my iSup instead of speeed as the day was too good to miss. Thick rails, minimum rocker and flex deck was all to be adapted to. Took about 15 mins to get the hang and had a great arvo, nothing pretty but fun, which I got from your sesh!🤙

    My first isup was brought on my enjoyment of a 2hr start up session and I only paid £250/$292 as I didn’t know how much I would use it. I then discovered sup surfing and can’t wait to take it back out there as my board is and inflatable 9ft that’s 4.75” thick

    I love this, it shows the blow-up board snobs a $300 board is just as much fun as a $1300 inflatable and pretty much does the same job. I've got a surf specific inflatable from Decathlon, 9' and only 4" thick, thruster set up and it's got a hard rail around the tail edge which lets the tail rail bite and you can really turn it well. it's got a decent rocker line too so less nose-dives! I can take this one when I'm working away and get to surf after work a couple of times a week so they have their uses, plus it doesn't hurt when it bounces off your head...!

      Dude! Thank you for the detailed comment!!! I was hard on this thing too, it's strong and works great. It would be cool with that surf specific rail you are talking about, could be awesome for river stuff too.

      @@Twonicles yeah there are some kinda ok ones for surf although you can only turn them off the tail really. I have a lot of fun on this one in the UK...

      @@radiowhitelion I learned to SUP surf with this iSUP. It's a decent inflatable board as you describe, but you loose power when you paddle like other inflatable boards. It haves a volume of 175 liters and 17 psi. I have catched some barrels with this but it's hard to surf all the wave because is too thick and the wave push you out. I think its probably one of the bests inflatable boards. I've been searching for other iSUP with less volume with this caracteristics and I can't find it as a price like this. It's a good board but not comparable wuth a rigid board.

    • @radiowhitelion
      @radiowhitelion 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ark4ngel393 That's true. My sweet spot is around 115 litres if it's clean so the iSUP feels very 'corky' and because the rails have no shape they dig in easy, but I've always got this board with me when I can't travel with a hard board, so it lets me surf once or twice a week more than I normally would so I love it for that. JP Australia do a SurfAir which looks good, it has the rail edge all down the rail and a better rocker line but it's also high volume and double the price of the Itiwit.

    I got one early August. Lots of cruising here some small waves. The transition from longboards was harder than I thought. But your video shows the bottom line it’s a blast, the boards soft, multiple riders can have fun together . I am going to write a review when the weather cools. I’d like to try paddling a regular sup for a more accurate comparison. But the Isup is fun.

    Recently found your channel, love the content, I'm just trying to get into SUP surfing. I bought an inflatable from Amazon as a cheap way to get my fitness level up before switching over to a hardboard. Had it out in some small surf and the round rails just don't hold in the surf lol. Still fun and awesome to have the option to keep a 10 foot board inside the car as an option for flatter days. Overall what was your impression of the iSUP?

    my wife got me a retrospec inflatable for a bit less so I could travel with it. first trip with it was to punta mita mexico and i had a great time surfing. have to remember to keep pressure on the tail or i would go head first over the nose since the rails are more like walls

    The only reason I would buy an isup would be if I didn't have space to store my rigid boards, I've tried decent isups from redwood paddle but once you go rigid... specially in the ocean: No wind pushing your board, a third of your rowing effort does not get absorbed by the board flexing, you have actual rails that grip to the wave face, thrusters or quads, the list goes on. BUT! If you want massive amounts of volume for 2 up or to take the dogs or even a cooler, something that can take a beating and bounce off the rocks and in the end of the day it fits inside the booth of your car, then by all means, get an inflatable.

    • @Twonicles
      @Twonicles  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Hugo for the comment!! Yea I've never surfed an inflatable before and it made me feel like I was on an innertube at a water park hahaha yea real rigid boards are where it's at, but it is cool this fits in a backpack haha
