Mercedes-Benz Adjusting the Liftgate Height

- Did you know that you can adjust the height that your Mercedes-Benz SUV Liftgate opens to? Follow along as we explain the quick and easy steps to adjusting the Liftgate Height.
Begin by opening the liftgate using either the button located on your Mercedes-Benz Key Fob or under the handle located above the license plate. When the liftgate reaches your desired maximum height, simply press the closing button to stop the liftgate. You will need to press and hold the closing button again until you hear the tone. Now, your Mercedes-Benz liftgate will automatically open to this height every time you open it.
To reset the height of your liftgate back to the standard factory settings, simply press and hold the closing button until you hear two short tones.

What about a c300
Mine no longer allows adjustment with the trunk button and it also doesn’t open all the way. What could be wrong?
Trunk restriction is turned on . On settings just have to turn it off
@@giovaniluevano943 I’ll check that out. There is a great deal of play too when it is opened I thought something broke.
My E class coupe just opens lower than the half way, no boot lid limiter on setting, I need to pull it up or press the star again to fully open.
I also tried this method and it’s still the same.
Any idea?!
