Had the privilege of seeing BB play in Lincoln Nebraska right before we lost him. I only really knew 2-3 songs....but I saw BB King. It was a fantastic concert

BB King had walked a hard road in his life. He couldn't come in the front door, during his early years, when he was playing for white people. He just smiled and knew change would come one day. He changed the world with his music and got to see the change in attitudes of not just a nation but in the world itself. If ever a man deserved a set of golden wings in heaven it is BB King!

BB King was such an amazing musician and man. His music inspired many a blue's artist to follow him. He has always lifted those around him and those he performed with. He always made them feel like the star of the show. He was always a humble man who never forgot those that helped him in his journey as well and he was always praising them in every show he performed. He also loved and adored his fans as much as they loved and adored him. He knew how much they loved him and he was eternally grateful to them all.

I saw and talked to B.B. King in Nashville Tennessee at a medical clinic, he was setting there all by his selfish with just regular street clothes like a normal person. I then started talking to him and he was just like any other person. After talking awhile I realized who I was talking to and then ask him about hisself. He elaborated about his self, but really just wanted to talk about normal things like the weather, fishing, normal things he really surprised me, but it was a good visit in the waiting room. He was really a nice person.
BB was the best.Connected to his music heart and soul.Not afraid to share the stage with other talented musicians.Great video.

I am, and for years before that. Saw B B King open for the Rolling Stones at Boston Garden back in the late 60s. Great stuff. King is an amazing showman, in addition to playing guitar.

Really King of Blues. His show with Clapton and George Benson was fantastic one. He played with Blues great Guitarists too.He is universally accepted as an all time great Blues musician.

WE recently lost Charles Dennis aka. "Charlie Tuna" seen playing guitar behind BB on this. My boy friend was close friends and long time band mate with Charlie. He passed from cancer and it was horrible, such a sweet man was Charlie. Charlie's two favorite slide players was Derek and my boyfriend. Pretty darn cool.

One night in college mid-80's I was volunteer stage security at a small-venue BB show, then got invited to the hospitality after-session. lots of heineken. super nice guy in the 90 minutes that i knew him. Still have the autograph thats my BB King story:)
