This game terrified me as a kid- this is the first time watching the zombie leaving the coffin in the opening video… nearly thirty years later. Great gameplay video!
Thank you! I only had this game as a demo and I loved it. ❤❤ so many memories. I loved it such. "Aaaaahhh siiir Daniel Fortteeessssque!" Loved the voice of the talking heads. Even that name was fun to say.
I just recently got this game again and man this game SO MUCH FUN. I only remember playing it a bit of the demo and a friend let me borrow the game just for a bit. But I am glad to FINALLY get the full experience again. I wanted to play the remake if I had the ps4. But I decided to get the original cause I was a kid when this came out.
@@GameKai51 I was a bit disappointed with the remake played it too completion but felt so many small details had been missed/changed and not for the better.

I'm glad you remembered to go back to Dan's Crypt for that life bottle! * I always get lost in the Ant Caves. I drew a map some years ago but have no idea where it went. * The Pools of the Ancient Dead are a nightmare to get around. It's very easy to slip and fall into the swamp, particularly with the old Playstation controllers (the analogue stick controller makes it easier, but it's still evil). It helps to NOT collect the soul helmets until you've reached the far end and done the bit behind the gate, as picking them up removes nearby bridges!! * The Ghost Ship is by far my least favourite level. LOTS of tricky jumps, many of which will drop you down near the start again if you miss. And then you have to go back to get the Chalice... I remember being immensely proud of myself for working out the witch talisman puzzle. There's a subtle hint in one of the books about being able to burn things with the club, but it's tricky to light the club and easy to forget about. Very useful for dealing with the haystacks at Scarecrow Fields, though.
Yo dude! Great channel. Nice fast-paced gameplays, you certainly know what you are doing. So yeah, liked and subed. Btw nice channel icon as well (caught my attention.) 😃👍
This game will always have a place in my heart, it’s one of the first games I remember when I got the ps1 and it was a demo, it scared the shit outta me, but I would always play it lol, years later it crosses my mind and I search up the remastered and trying to explain to my fiancé how scared I was of this game, she goes like what this is nothing, then I look up the original one and she goes like okay yeah I can see how this would creep you out lol
Just started it today for the first time pretty much blind and I’m on the wolf boss but idk how to get that hammer but I’ve nearly beat it with just my sword once out of the hundreds of time I’ve tried to defeat it
I don't know if you figured it out but you really have to collect the chalice at every level to get the new weapons, the wolf boss is defeated easily with the hammer if i remember correctly @@ofres5651
Agreed, it has so much charm and the atmosphere is superb! I really wish the remake better captured the feeling of this game, instead of being super cartoony and sparkly lol
@@ismailtoprakci9593 I 100% agree and playing the OG on PS4 is the only reason I even bothered playing the remake lol. Hopefully someday they remake it like a 1:1 ratio

Same! I still prefer the PS1 game over the PS4 remake tbh
one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life

The ps4 remake comes with the original ps1 version. Beat it to unlock.
The Asylum grounds 2nd puzzle was the bane of my childhood and was why it took me years to finish the game. 🤣🤣
Ah yes this game is good back in time ps1 and now ps4 I'm finishing the game. ❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve played through this game over a dozen times and the most time consuming level is the ant caves.

@@GameKai51 how did you record your footage for this and was it emulation or original hardware?
@@GameKai51 thanks!
@@GameKai51 the reason I asked is I plan on doing something similar, what capture card would you recommend for like 1080 60/144?

Awesome bro. You are doing amazing job. A big like for u 👍😊❤
The demo was like a full game to me as a kid
I was scared as a kid playing this game now, resident evil takes the cake
I remember as a 7 year old thinking the club was a huge chicken drumstick.
