    My father and I spent 6 hours one Christmas morning and day working to get the sound card going in the new computer. When it was done we fired this up.... oh man I still feel goosebumps about how enthralled I was by the incredible graphics and sound.... best christmas I have in my memory!!

It is highly recommended to save game here and come back once you end game, and then play the other 2 paths. The game truly changes.

      I played as a team the first time around, thinking it would've just ended up that way regardless. Oh yes. There were all kinds of crazy "off-disk" anti-piracy measures. Some games came with tiny, thick books with light red text containing codes to look up. You saw the color red used in these a lot because apparently it was the color that photocopiers of the day had the biggest problem with. The "Dial-a-Pirate" rotating cardboard wheel with Secret of Monkey Island was a particularly interesting one.

      Well I actually finished my first playthrough ever today without the help of any guide or manual, it almost drove me nuts. After finishing it, I discovered through reviews there’s a path and iq system. I beat the teams path with the alternative ending in a total playtime of 19 hours.
      Came here to see how the heck I was supposed to bring Sophia together with me at Atlantis, as I got to a point in which after saying all the lines I could at the scepter’s room, Indy would just say: “take it easy while I look around” and didn’t let me change the camera to the necklace like the video shows, so I guess I was unlucky enough to find a weird glitch in an almost 30 year old game.

    I bought this game and it was so much fun. Alas, I was rubbish at it and had to buy the hint book in the end to get myself out of that horrendous maze.
    One of the great features of this game was that you could play it in three modes: the teams mode shown here, the solo problem-solving mode, and the punch-em-up mode for those who wanted lots of fighting. That's a lot of game for your money.

    The way they integrated Atlantis, the minotaur myth, and nazi eugenics/medical experiments is genius. And a pretty dark theme for a 90's game, or even an Indiana Jones movie.
    When you think of it, the part from 3:45:00 onwards is pretty messed up. Was this Nur-ab-sal guy the dr. Mengele of the bronze age, looking for their version of the ubermensch? That lava pit looks like it was used as a primitive cremation oven, and those deformed skeletons seem to be remains of people he experimented on. Were these the kids that were sacrificed to the minotaur in the Greek myth?

    • @pycnopodia4197
      @pycnopodia4197 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Your theory about the minotaur myth is even more messed up when you consider the fact that in the Wits Path, the Labyrinth of Knossos is directly linked to Atlantis by multiple undersea subway tunnels. Did the Minoans have to send people down there only to be crammed into a train car for a one way trip?

    • @LordOfGilneas
      @LordOfGilneas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pycnopodia4197 It's an Even more messed up theory when you consider the dark possibility that the Minoan Temples and Bull Mythos might well have been the result, of *ATLANTEAN OCCUPATION* and that they were forced to make these temples, and send tribute to the atlantean cities.
