Slovakia is one of my favorite countries in the world. I hiked 540 km during my five week stay in April and May of 2023. I hiked Mala Fatra, the High Tatras (until I froze out) and Slovak Paradise. I essentially did a big circle of the country including the four largest cities and numerous small villages. Not a lot of English speakers in the north and east but I survived. The scenery is breathtaking, but it’s the people that really make the visit special. 🇸🇰
@@liza.somova I will have to make a point of visiting the castle at Orava when I go back. I also have to visit the mining towns in the middle of the country.

Great Video, very well filmed! Love Slovakia the Mala Fatra, Rosutec and Terchova. Just a few tipps: in the Video say/show where you are - City, on the Map, show the signposts, maybe even number of bus or train etc. so people can check it out, reconstruct and maybe take the same tour, will add a lot of value for the viewer. Or just blend in the info and post it below the video. Anyway best wishes and maybe you will do also the high Tatras on day :)
Staré hory (village) - Majerova skala - Krížna - Ostredok (the highest peak) - Salaš pod Suchým vrchom or Salaš Mandolína (overnight stay) - Ploská - Borišov - Rakytov - Útulňa Limba - Liptovské Revúce. It is best to go in autumn. :) @@liza.somova

Ahoj. Pekne video…a chcem ta poprosit, pozri si navstevny poriadok narodneho parku, aby zbytocne neprislo k nedorozumeniu. Narazam na bivakovanie, to je dovolene len v okoli stavieb, napr. chata pod grunom, chata pod chlebom, chata pod suchym. A dopucujem ti este hrebenovku Malej Fatry cez Velky Krivan, Maly Krivan a Suchy. Dalej z Tiesnav cez Baraniarky az na Velky Krivan. Prajem vela zazitkov v prirode.
i hope you really enjoyed our nature, but what i have to say this teritory is a National park and protected area. So there are a few rules (in any NP) you shoud know before you will go there. You cant camp everywhere, there are official places for it mostly next to mountain lodges within 100m and there is also strictly prohibited make any kind of fire except oficial fireplaces or within 10 metres of a closest building. You are lucky you weren't caught by the Nature conservation officer. Anyway in my opinion this part of Slovakia (Mala Fatra and Liptov) is the most beautiful and not just for hiking lovers.
Thank you so much for your comment and information, we knew about camping but we couldn’t get to the camping spot in time because my friend had a back pain, we really worried about it but couldn’t do anything. Just want to know, so we can’t use there anything to make food? We didn’t make a bonfire, but you tell that it’s about any fire right? Nature there is amazing! I would like to come back to explore more 🏔️✨

Nice video! just a recommendation for next time, you should read the rules for the national park before going. It's forbidden to camp there, besides a small area around mountain huts and refuges. Luckily you didn't get caught.

Pokud jste nebyla na Velké Fatře tak zkuste tu. Z mého pohledu není tak náročná, ale člověk se tam také zapotí a najde úžasné pohledy do krajiny.

These 2 rockey peaks in Mala Fatra(Low Fatra) is Malý(Small) and Veľký(Big) Rozsutec.The wiev from Veľký Rozsutec is awsome almost for whole country.
Nice hiking, next time I recommend Veľká Fatra National Park, there are many accommodation options in old mountain huts, which are free :)
