Fantastic video the mountains in the background are beautiful. Thank you for enduring the cold and snow to allow us to follow your adventures keep it up and good luck with the continuing growth of your chanel.
Hi from Montreal, enjoy your camping and life time goes by so fast. I'm 75 and have great memories of camping with my wife Louise who recently passed away. We enjoyed every minute of camping with family and friends. Take care. Signed Jim
You are very talented and do unique things which makes your videos stand out against others on TH-cam The scenery is beautiful thanks for taking us along stay safe and warm Love from Ohio USA
Awsome shelter! But could be less gaping in the door and start fire inside earlier so it dosent drop water from all snow in the pine 😊🤙 but awsome shelter! Realy liked your idea on those drilling and branches inside the drill holes!
He's not. He's going home to sleep in his bed as soon as the video is over. He's not going to stay even halfway warm in that. The roof is far too thin and it can't hold in any heat the way it is made. The roof is upside down, any melt is coming right in. Not down the outside. It's backwards, any snow melt is going to drip right in.
I watched all your video you got good skills the area your do video really nice ...so as a roundup for season you created awesome shelters the cave stove the long fires fishing and the one got me most the igloo with hot stove an at end you stand on it great season of video very creative person.... thank you again.✌

You know dang well he didn't stay there all night. The wood skills were ok, but putting up a tarp teepee would have been a lot easier and quicker. Everyone wants those tiny pack stoves that you can only fill with kindling. Build a teepee with a smoke flap and dig a 14 inch deep pit roughly 16 inches in diameter in the center to burn actual wood that way you won't have to feed a tiny kindling stove all night.
Multiple possible reasons: no tarp; no need for a short while and no wish to damage the tarp or work hard to retrieve it ( after all, is a good emergency shelter when no chance to build better); enough boughs and debris will prevent a lot of precipitation, just like thatching; and the biggest two for me is to avoid condensation and smoke/tar damage to the tarp with an internal fire
look for Fourgonlaterne or Armee-Kerzenlaterne. but prepare to be disappointed, they are rare and expensive. Maybe the ucco lantern will do what you expect?
I always wonder why people do this in the snow , a challenge I guess but isn’t it enough just to to make a camp with out the added problems that snow causes !
Why would you make it wrong? It takes less time to do a job right, then to explain why you didn't. If someone is watching videos to learn something why teach them the wrong way to do it? I don't understand.
how to survive a freezing night in the snow .. 1 buy wool clothes 2 buy long johns 3 buy a wood stove 4 bring lots of food . 5 bring a sleeping bag that will keep you warm even if you have no food or shelter or wood stove . only gay people like this crap
You should return to this spot in the summer like in May or June so we can see what it looks like when everything is all Green.
So nice and warm in the little cabin at the snowy mountain .

See the "J" shaped trees forming on the side of this mountain? It means a landslide is developing. Take care not to be harmed by it.
Probably were Lowe’s gets their lumber.
No, those are "S" trees.
Great clip. BTW, your fire will burn more slowly if you fill the cracks between the logs with dirt.
Ground (dirt) is Frozen.
WINTER. ☆
@@fjb4932 - of course. Good point
Hey! Whats that power you use to start the fire?
It was Potasium Permangante mixed with Sugar. When solid potassium permanganate crystals are rubbed together with sugar, an exothermic reaction can occur, leading to rapid combustion.

Меня отец всегда учил, прогреть то место огнем, где ставить палатку! и вам советую)
There is a lot of snow, you should be careful 💪
Ok, I gotta know. What's the black fire starting material you ignore with friction?
You should a least bring a tarp
What is that fire starter material from the bottle?
Great video. Does anyone know what the "pellets" are that he use for fire starting?
I curious about this also

enjoy your videos man! what state you stay in?
His YT profile says Switzerland. Does indeed look like an alpine forest.

For the life of me I’ll never understand why you don’t cover the frame with a tarp or plastic before layering with limbs.

Maybe because tarps don't grow in the wold?
Do you want him to stay home in a house as well?
LMAO 😂 😂
Yeah, go ahead, build it in your backyard too while you're at it. That way it's a quick trip to Target for a n electric blanket.
Anyone know where to get a little candle lantern like that?
look for Fourgonlaterne or Armee-Kerzenlaterne.
