run 47 was definitely where you started getting so much better ! watched all the build videos and up to date with the learning to drift they are so sick mann keep it up :)
Hey what's up man names mario I started drifting about 2-3 months ago and i'm already pretty good at it I've been watching your videos and every time i get more and more inspired to save for a 240 lol i currently have a bmw 318ti hatchback that i slide almost everywhere haha it's completely stock body roll lie a mo fo but busted mounts and 140 hp and 180 tq and i tandem with my buddies all the time keep up the good work with your s13 your videos are awesome peace :D Keep it sideways
ive been thinking about doing a drift car build series on my channel for a while. i finnaly cut the talk about doing it and just bought a 240. was going to buy either a rx7 or 240 and had a good deal on my car. ill make a video on it in a few days when im not at work it has a welded dif, full exhaust and cold air intake. i have turbo headers and downpipe for the car so when i scrape up some more cash its getting coilovers and turbo
man keep up the awesome Videos.. I've been with you from the start on this series and watching this has inspired me in a way to go build a 240 and go drift. so slowly but surely ile be doing so
Been waiting for the raw footage! You made am awesome progression, and you are getting there. A Lot of people are saying that you need more power and tbh i dont see it, i think that this is more than enough for entry level. Its all a matter of rythim. Anyway, i look forward for the next episode cheers!
Youre actually becoming a really good drifter! Practice makes perfect. I cant wait to hopefully get an r33gts skyline and do this when i get my license
Well the video is put into a video editor and then cut into pieces and the titles and such are all added. So now in order to take all those titles and pieces of video and turn it into an actual single video file, you need to render the video. Which assembles all the files and turns it into one complete video file. Hope that helps,
***** oh ok, thanks bro, will your next video be drifting ep 4, or what but REALLY like your videos and i am so glad that you respond to your comments and put so much time and effort into these videos, for us. and i thank u alot for that
I'm planning for the next video to be Ep. 4, but if it takes too long I'll most likely add a video like the taillight comparison just to give you guys something to watch. You're welcome :) you guys make it worth it
Just wait a little longer until summer. That's when I'm starting work on the new car and there will be plenty of footage from that. But until then I'm trying to get as much track time as I can and give you guys some video :)
Really like your vids keep it up👍 cant wait to be practicing but gotta do some maintenance on my car first. Just went through a body swap with an rb25det.
Hey man, just a quick word of advise! E-brake is your friend! For example. The first turn for the s turn you're doing in this video; go wide, clutch in, pull e brake "brap brap" drop ebrake, and clutch and floor it, dont let off throttle that'll cause you to grip and spin out. when you want to transfer let off throttle until you feel the car start to whip back then full throttle again, or clutch kick if you dont have the power :). it's okay to do multiple clutch kicks also! let me know how it goes!
glad you posted this. i am doin my first competition on sunday! my first time drifting was last month, i have a video on my page, but now im gonna be competing!!! i have little seat time and dont wanna get in trouble street drifting, so its kinda my only way to drift safely. im not competing to win though jus the only way to get some seat time for me. wish i had a go pro so i can do more vids but oh well!!! great job on ur vids, and its awesome to see someone else go from 0- drift like you have been. ill be sliding soon!!! good job and have fun!!!
Came with the car, but it's an NRG Woodgrain. I had the one with the chrome spokes, but plastidipped the spokes matte black. You can find it on Amazon, eBay and various other sites.
BeatsPlusHD dont get an ebay wheel, they bend and flex very easily and can be dangerous. Buy a legit wheel or one from ebay only if you do your reasearch on it
It's an NRG wheel which is a very reputable brand and are pretty much the go to for quick release systems for steering wheels. I just said eBay and Amazon because that's much easier than listing dozens of performance websites like Enjuku and FRSport. But yea haha generic eBay wheels are pretty horrible.
I really think suspension. As you'll see in Ep. 4 ;) power is fine stock so nothing really needed there. And getting a set of coilovers will make your car not only handle better but also look better. Oh and also an exhaust is always fun because it sounds like you own a really fast car hahaha
Man this was an awesome build series i loved watching this it was so much fun watching you. but bummer abut the chassis that really sucks. but that raises some questions. did the screwed chassis affect the handling in the car drift wise or day to day wise? what was the total cost including buying the car and all of the parts? keep up the good work man :) And i love how you add in the text of what you are saying and just the simple little things you do in your videos are just awesome man like the little hashtags and shit like that, it adds to the humour!
Handling wasn't effected in any way I could tell. I'm still a beginner and that's how I've always driven the car so even if there was something fishy about it I wouldn't really be able to notice. Although compared to other cars, this drives perfectly fine. Car was $2700 and I've spent about $2000 on top of that, and once you deduct the money I've made from selling parts I took off, it comes out to around $1200 on top. Haha thanks! Glad you like the editing :)
your drift skill is there, i think that the car is little under horsepower so you can't maintain you're drift. but it is just fine while you are learning, and hello from Iceland!!
I'm getting better and better each time I go out, and through the video I can tell that the car can maintain the drift so that means it's just me that can't do it every time haha. Hello from the US!
Lol never explained it. But the tumbler for the ignition doesn't keep in the key in place so I can pull out the key in every position. So when I'm at the track if I leave my key in the ignition it will fall out after the first turn or so lol and then I have to find it somewhere in the car. Which is why I take it out after the car is on and put it somewhere.
adrian garcia Right now I think I'm borderline ready for more power. Probably a few more events and then I would be ready although it still wouldn't be needed. And where I'm at now is two more events from what's uploaded.
SpecDrift, JustDrift, 626Drift, 805Slide are all common event organizers at Willow. This event was through JustDrift, and for Ep. 4 which hasn't been released yet was through SpecDrift. Hope that helps,
I commented on your shorter vid when I should off on this lol but I said I would be doing a lot clutch kicking to keep the revs high since it doesn't have crazy amounts of power I know I'm 13 but I know what I'm talking about lol keep it up great improvement s see you at d1
have u got sponsores or have you alot of money? (i'm asking if it's expensive to drift?) and have u got many problems with your car? because drifting tears on the car right?
Drifting wears on your car yes, but if you maintain it and don't beat on it, your car will last you just fine. Drifting isn't expensive until you start crashing or breaking stuff, like he mentioned in his previous video, it cost him $80 for this video, a full day at the track. So legally drifting isn't expensive, it's when you have to fix and replace things, is when it gets expensive.
No sponsors, and not much money either haha. This day was $85 in track entry but I also used $60 in tires as well as around $50 in gas so it comes out to roughly $200 for each day. Nope no problems with the car. As long as you maintain the car and build it decently the first time then you shouldn't run into any issues unless you crash.
Yea that's wind noise from the gopro. When I let off I transition and then all the wind starts going head on to the camera causing all the noise. Next video I have an in car mic so no worries :)
I'm commenting just so there's one more person in the comments saying that aren't just saying "you need more power" hahah good stuff. I don't need to reassure you but the power you have is fine. people need to watch more Hot Version and less Formula D.
run 47 was definitely where you started getting so much better ! watched all the build videos and up to date with the learning to drift they are so sick mann keep it up :)
Forgot that this was even in my Watch Later. I enjoyed every minute of it :D
Am I the only person who puts this on there tv and has a marathon of all your episodes haha ? :)
Lol good thinking tough
I remembered how i wanted a 240 lol but now i cant wait to finish up my datsun 510 lol keep up the awsome work man!
Getting better and better by the day! I remember when you first uploaded your first video, your doing something right cuz Im still here lol :D
Hahaha thanks :P
No problem! Love to get feedback, at least you care about the fans lol :D
ive been thinking about doing a drift car build series on my channel for a while. i finnaly cut the talk about doing it and just bought a 240. was going to buy either a rx7 or 240 and had a good deal on my car. ill make a video on it in a few days when im not at work it has a welded dif, full exhaust and cold air intake. i have turbo headers and downpipe for the car so when i scrape up some more cash its getting coilovers and turbo

Me too
Nice, I can't wait for my first drift event in 5 weeks!
Best of luck out there :)
man keep up the awesome

A Lot of people are saying that you need more power and tbh i dont see it, i think that this is more than enough for entry level. Its all a matter of rythim. Anyway, i look forward for the next episode cheers!
Yup I just need more practice. I am almost positive that in Ep. 4 the comments about needing more power will stop ;)
Keep up the good work man your getting sooooo good
DUDE im actually happy for you
You need more pooooower! xD, great vid tho man! making progress!
Youre actually becoming a really good drifter! Practice makes perfect. I cant wait to hopefully get an r33gts skyline and do this when i get my license
That sounds like an awesome first car
***** hey dude nice video. Worth the wait. Btw what is it to render a video cuz i dont know anything about uploading

***** i've heard new car?
Yessir ps. check my Facebook page or my Instagram ;)
So which is it supra ? S13?
Gotta check one of my pages to find out :P
Really like your vids keep it up👍 cant wait to be practicing but gotta do some maintenance on my car first. Just went through a body swap with an rb25det.
you should host a car meet
Hey man, just a quick word of advise! E-brake is your friend! For example. numbr1sk8r his e-brake doesn't lock the back, it just acts like a brake and slows down the whole car.
Ye that happened in the first I think where he tried drifting and also I still tought he fixed it though ? Hhhmmmm not sure
Fudge You pmu pads, or tighten the ebrake cable. PMU pads are awesome! those suckers lock.
you my friend know what your talking about
glad you posted this. i am doin my first competition on sunday! my first time drifting was last month, i have a video on my page, but now im gonna be competing!!! i have little seat time and dont wanna get in trouble street drifting, so its kinda my only way to drift safely. im not competing to win though jus the only way to get some seat time for me. wish i had a go pro so i can do more vids but oh well!!! great job on ur vids, and its awesome to see someone else go from 0- drift like you have been. ill be sliding soon!!! good job and have fun!!!
Good luck with the competition! Thanks for keeping it on the track and setting a good example :)
Dude, i say just one! Work Hard, Go PRO !
Hey dude where did u get your steering wheel i really like it.
Came with the car, but it's an NRG Woodgrain. I had the one with the chrome spokes, but plastidipped the spokes matte black. You can find it on Amazon, eBay and various other sites.
ok thanks looks nice
BeatsPlusHD dont get an ebay wheel, they bend and flex very easily and can be dangerous. Buy a legit wheel or one from ebay only if you do your reasearch on it

what power upgrades do you have in mind? Do you have a back up plan if you end up blowing the ka? V8, Sr20, 1j, 2j, vq?
Going to go turbo one day. If it blows I would probably rebuild it and then boost it haha
thats cool mad well your channel is one of my favorites cant wait to see whats next
Dude you're getting so much better
Think about adding some power maybe like a bleed valve or something
Keep up the good vids dude
Lolwut
Nissan Mechanic Bleed valves give good amounts of power to a n/a
How are you going to fix the exhaust scraping on the ground? Plus do you play Gran Turismo or Forza lol
On the new build the plan is to build an exhaust and when I do I'll be sure to tuck it up as high as I can.
Keep up the good work !!
What do you recommend the first mod/upgrade be on a stock 240
I really think suspension. As you'll see in Ep. 4 ;) power is fine stock so nothing really needed there. And getting a set of coilovers will make your car not only handle better but also look better. Oh and also an exhaust is always fun because it sounds like you own a really fast car hahaha
Thanks! Btw, I love your videos, i've been watching ever since I found your 1st episode about a week after it was uploading, can't wait to see more
Thanks for the support, glad you like the videos!
Coils and turbo
And a welded diff none of this vlsd ish
Where is this drifting spot at!!!!!!! I saw it on topgear usa!!!!!!please reply
Lol it's in the title, the Balcony at Willow Springs
u gotta give it gas when u slide power is the key power is every thing and then rip that e brake and power over
Man this was an awesome build series i loved watching this it was so much fun watching you. but bummer abut the chassis that really sucks. but that raises some questions. did the screwed chassis affect the handling in the car drift wise or day to day wise? what was the total cost including buying the car and all of the parts? keep up the good work man :) And i love how you add in the text of what you are saying and just the simple little things you do in your videos are just awesome man like the little hashtags and shit like that, it adds to the humour!

Do you drive the 240 to school/work?
Depends on how I feel. Usually I'm just too tired to take the car out so I drive another car that's available.
your drift skill is there, i think that the car is little under horsepower so you can't maintain you're drift. but it is just fine while you are learning, and hello from Iceland!!
I'm getting better and better each time I go out, and through the video I can tell that the car can maintain the drift so that means it's just me that can't do it every time haha. Hello from the US!

haha ok just checking. keep on doing what you are doing!
Not sure if someone asked but why do you have the key out of the ignition while driving
.-.
Lol never explained it. But the tumbler for the ignition doesn't keep in the key in place so I can pull out the key in every position. So when I'm at the track if I leave my key in the ignition it will fall out after the first turn or so lol and then I have to find it somewhere in the car. do yo think that youre ready for more power to start drifting more
adrian garcia Right now I think I'm borderline ready for more power. Probably a few more events and then I would be ready although it still wouldn't be needed. And where I'm at now is two more events from what's uploaded.
dont forget to film it so we can watch it
Of course :)
This took a while to come out :P
Yea haha 16 hours to render and it had errors in 3 different renders -_-
Does anyone know how I can get to drift on willow or what event it is, all I see is comps when I look up willows springs drift
SpecDrift, JustDrift, 626Drift, 805Slide are all common event organizers at Willow. This event was through JustDrift, and for Ep. 4 which hasn't been released yet was through SpecDrift. Hope that helps,
***** thanks love the chanel
No problem, thanks!
Currently building a 32 gtst for my first car,
Hurry up and make some more videos so I have something to watch!!!
But keep it up man sick videos!
Niiice, best of luck with that!
I'm trying to get videos out but school is killing me haha
Would it be nice to get a subaru wrx (why no wrx STi because age 14) as my first car and have it all stock and idk drift it?
14. Yes you know everything about cars......
Who said I was alone...??
***** Prove.
No e brake?
Where is this place at I need to learn how to drift
Ozzy Hernandez Willow Springs as stated in the title :)
^ bingo, what Fudge You said
Haha dam I feel dumb but it's funny that I didn't notice thanks guys :) and sick vids man you're doing good
It happens to the best of us :)
Thanks!
Power upgrades?
Eventually, but for right now the car is doing really good on stock power. Just need to get better and be more consistent.
How much horsepower is the car roughly making? Like 135?
Yup somewhere around there.
whats up with the massages oñ the car lol
I wanna go but dont know when and where it is lol
Track is Willow Springs and the event coordinators are JustDrift, SpecDrift, 626Drift, and 805Slide. Hope that helps :)
Are you going to work on any other cars soon?
Yessir, waiting until summer so I can build non-stop without having to worry about school. Until then I'm doing track events :)
U should have a car meet
Where do you get the money to do this??
240s are cheep my man anyone can do this :)
Worked part time in the summer, had money saved up, and currently being supported by TH-cam :)
Nissan Mechanic , true but theyre rare here :P, ***** Nice! And how could an inexperienced individual such as me get involved in the JDM scene?
MrNoodleMix Just read up online on forums, educate yourself, and then go out there and do your own thing haha
thanks man!
Dude you don't need your keys in the ignition to keep your car on ?? That just blew my mind lol
Yea the ignition is messed up so I can take my key out in any position haha
I commented on your shorter vid when I should off on this lol but I said I would be doing a lot clutch kicking to keep the revs high since it doesn't have crazy amounts of power I know I'm 13 but I know what I'm talking about lol keep it up great improvement s see you at d1

i think you need 30-50 more horse. once you get the tires spinning your great, but until then your fighting the traction
Wtf is that sharp thing when you get off the gas its tripping me out I thought its my head buds but no its in all of your drift vids
Sharp thing?
*****
go to 25:30 and you will hear it
wind noise from the gopro
Yea that's wind noise from the gopro. When I let off I transition and then all the wind starts going head on to the camera causing all the noise. Next video I have an in car mic so no worries :)
change that steering wheel with another one with more grip...like a rally one
Welded diff/LSD and coilovers
I live 30 mins away from there
I'm commenting just so there's one more person in the comments saying that aren't just saying "you need more power" hahah
good stuff. I don't need to reassure you but the power you have is fine. people need to watch more Hot Version and less Formula D.
Haha thanks Dylan. Don't worry, I know exactly what the car can do and in time with more episodes people will start to see I don't need more power ;)
are you just learning by your self? because if you do then i understand that you spin and stuff
The Reckless Tomatoes Yup learning by myself. Only tip I got that day was "Go faster on the first turn" and that was it lol
Nice :D Hope you cna have youtube as your daily job or so so you cna upload more videos :D
The Reckless Tomatoes I hope so too haha, I'm working on uploading as much as I can :)
Great :D
but other then that u r getting there
Hey read this! Check your motor, rod doesn't sound right.
That's the solid shifter bushing doing the rattling. The engine is perfectly healthy :)
Oh just looking out
You need a bit more power :)
Bro tbh I think it would help if u had just a little more power. Make some more vids.
dude double clutch dont try to power drift double clutch easier
