I feel like the issue with Zarya is threefold: 1. She can turn anyone on the team into a tank for a short duration vs. Forcing her to make the space like standard tanks, making it hard for the enemy team to know how conquerable a certain space really is 2. Her “bubble tracking” requires WAY too much attention and coordination to counter at lower levels of play 3. The way she can cycle bubbles makes it so they are up/available pretty regularly
I think with the points about not running away from a Sombra or a Genji, if you run, you're teaching that player that you're a reliable, easy target. If you fight back hard every time, they'll probably look for easier prey.
Yeap, as a Genji main i can confirm unless u are a master of escape when i see supports who don't fight back i see a healer bot. But if you fight back i will respect you and be more careful next time. Also losing 1v1 against a support will hurt my feelings unless you are Moira XD.

"Soldier76 could shoot at a tank all day, but if the tank is being pocket healed by 2 healers, then good luck" I agree with this, but sometimes that is exactly what you WANT to do. Forcing 2 healers to negate your damage creates its own unique windows of opportunity for the overall teamfight. It can also be used as a way to shift momentum in the form of Ultimate Charge, depending on you/enemy healer's current ult charge %.
Idk if I agree either. Worst case scenario, you're allowing 1 or 2 of their supports to get easy ult charge and if it's ana/kiriko then they're going to dominate team fights the whole game. Meanwhile, you're blasting away at an Orisa gaining 30% less ult charge and not helping peel for your supports while Genji harasses them. Be better off trying to pepper shots into their supports and peeling for your supports which in turn will create space for your entire team. Soldier is great a creating constant pressure and causing enemies to back off, but not very good at that when you're just shooting an unkillable tank being pocketed. Sure, you'll lead the leaderboard in damage, but most of it was useless damage and just allowed enemy supports to build easy ult charge.
