  • Hey guys! Today at Offsets Garage, we’re finishing up the 2.5” Lift on Zach’s brand new 2022 Nissan Frontier. Not our usual cup of tea, but it has been a fun little build. Hope you enjoy hanging out with us in the shop!!

    The ride height on this truck is perfect. Say what you want about Rough Country but I’ve had my lift on my duramax for almost 50K miles now with no issues at all and it’s actually a great product.

    Rough Country’s website says this lift is only for the S and Sv models, not the Pro-4X. Did you just say “screw it” and put it on?

    What did you guys buy? RC doesn’t offer any 2.5 kits for the pro4x.

    • @sjia5568
      @sjia5568 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They technically don't at this point. I believe they used the 2021 kit and with some persuasion, made it work. I'm waiting for an "official" release from RC for the 2022 before I buy. Camber bolts are necessary due to the geometric change in the suspension and therefore wheel alignment.

    You guys do really good work. I’m thinking about getting a frontier so that’s why I watch your video. Little less music and more chitchat in the shop would be more informative in your videos.

    Doing the front spacer lift will you still have good extension of the shock?? Why not go with 5100 Bilstein?? I have a 2023 frontier and debating

    If you guys decide to put exhaust I'd suggest banks cat back as it's the only kit I saw that not only increases hp & torque but far more importantly it has a nice heat sheild for transmission as we all know transmissions don't like heat especially long term

    On the rough country website, it says the setup doesn’t fit the pro4x though…I’m confused.

      it fits, bilstein shock and 1/2" taller springs are the only difference. need an aftermarket upper arm like spc to fix that issue.

    So rough country told me there were fitment issues on the Pro-4x. But I see people putting these lifts on a lot of them. Do you guys have any idea? Also, how's the offroad ability with this lift?

    I recently purchased same model pro4x luxury in boulder grey. I am worried about long term reliability of vq3.8dd engine. I have heard it is direct injection and not multi port fuel injection. I am worried about carbon buildup in cylinder heads and valves. I am thinking did I made the right decision and worried about the overall brand image of Nissan at the moment.
    few disappointments no lumbar support and no passenger side automatic seat adjustments. no wireless apple car play, no telescopic steering. few positives, great looks, comfortable seating, good fender sound, wireless charging, leather seats and sunroof. smooth 9 speed automatic transmission.

    • @pagodad2036
      @pagodad2036 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe your lumbar adjustment is on the right SIDE of the backrest. There should be a lever there for adjustment. Another thing to consider is read your owners manual. It’ll tell you everything you need to know about your truck. Good luck.

      I own a 22 pro4x. Go buy a Z1 off road catch can specifically for the new 3.8. That will curve your carbon build up. Problem solved

    I have a 2nd Gen frontier and i remember coming upon this channel for a majority of the time they skipped entertaining the Frontier Nation and now the 3rd Gen is out it gets love i am pretty baffled by this and one of the reasons i stopped watching Custom Offsets i felt like they didn't give a damn about us.
    This is not hating on the channel i just felt they never gave us a fair chance.
