Great sounds and thanks DeeDee. My first introduction to the hammered dulcimer was in Mountain Home, Arkansas 1991. The musician was a woman named Lucy Reilly. After all these years I can still hear the music in my mind
@@deedeetibbits You better hope they don’t find musical life on some other distant solar system or you’ll have to learn all new musical instruments! 🤔🤣🤣🤣🎵🎶🎼
WOW, how stunningly beautiful is this performance?! Your splendid rendition of 'Whiskey Before Breakfast' is proof that the best way to start the day is with a hearty dose of Hammered Dulcimer Magic 🎵💫 Your magnificent playing is like a breath of fresh air, infusing each note with so much life and personality. Thank you SO much for sharing your incredible talent with us, DeeDee! Keep those strings singing, and stay awesome! The world could use a little more sparkle, and you are just the one to provide it! 🎼🌎✨🙏😊
Thank You.Dad loved to hear the dulcimer. He'sbeen gone for quite awhile.i enjoy it as well.i had never seen anyone play it before.bet He heard you playing it.keep playing it.
I once saw a guy who put strategically placed quarters under the piano wires of a grand piano. It created an almost, but different, sound like a harpsichord.
I love your rendition of this. The dampening on the bass bridge was a wonderful addition. I could listen all day. My grandchildren are enjoying this too.
Lord preserve us and protect us, we been drinkin whiskey fore breakfast Oooohhhh. I first heard this song on a Mike Cross album titled Live and Kicking. I later heard him sing it live. Good times.

Always has been one of my favorite instruments. I had the pleasure of hearing on on the regular for years during show season. I could never just walk by, always had to stop, even if just for a few moments.

Whiskey before breakfast? No wonder the dulcimer's hammered! Still sounded great, thanks to DeeDee

The dulcimer is definitely hammered, but she's not. 😂😂 She is very talented.
Who needs whisky before breakfast when one can listen to this and be cheered right up to suppertime? Brava!
