SFR Dev here, thank you for playing my game!
I loved reading all the positive comments as well :)
Solid game... literally dug it out of its grave... hope your influence spreads and you can make it into a simple series
These obscure roguelikes always have interesting art styles.
Just bought this before I finished watching this video. Lost my first run immediately after the tutorial. Won my second run. I’m loving the concept so far. It’ll easily be worth $5 if I can get at least a couple hours of collective play out of it.
Looks like it just came out too, so with enough support from all of us, maybe it’ll get continuously updated for awhile and become even better.
Thanks for the recommendation :)
Updated response:
I played for around 2-3 hours straight and ended up around 40% completion. I had a good time. It’s literally just RNG as to whether or not you find the boots though. I lost several runs with zero boots found.
Fun game. Interested to see if they update it more and what they might add. It’s a little repetitive the current moment, though.
These hidden gems really are hidden and are gems
This is and interesting and unique concept, i like how you not really building a deck that you play with but your building a deck of blessings. The art isn't bad either im glad you made a video on this.
I would love to see a series on this
I wonder if they'll like make bosses that always stand at the 6th tile, and exchange blows with you X times when you approach them, then the graveyard resets and you need to make your way to them again, until you finally drop their health to zero. Some could even have special rules, or activate powers between those rounds (for ex, casts a buff on 2nd and 4th tile, where enemies will have double health there, or build up a fireball that will hit you on the 4th tile for 1 damage, or they will gain armor if you collect any boots in that current round etc etc).
Lots of room for creativity there.
PLEASE play more of this, this was so much fun to watch!!!!!
Fascinating. I'd watch more
This game looks fun, I would like to see more of this as a small series!
Thank you as always for the showcase and recommendation! I will be picking this up and playing it today! Great video!
This seems so fun, I will watch any video on this game you make for sure!
This looks so cool! I'd love to see you play more of it!
I'm going to be honest I remember watching the devlog for this game and didn't realize how little traction it got because the quality of the videos were so good. @TheDelightfulDev is the channel for anybody wondering
Would love to see you play more
Brilliant, it's always good to see some fresh content, especially if it's a gem like that. Thank you!
Would love to see more, game looks very cool!
I loved this so dearly. It actually reminds me deeply of a pixel art game and an old friend started coding for fun. Definitely would love to watch more!!!
Speaking of hidden gems, this channel is a hidden gem. Keep up the good work!
More of this please. Not overcomplicated, simple and effective fun.
I bought this game and have slowly been exploring it's depths and I am quite pleasantly surprised by all the additional content!
ayyy looks pretty fun. thanks for sharing
Such an unique idea. Count me interested.
This was great honestly
What a fun, simple to understand game! Thank you for exhuming it for us.
Good choice Tyler, Thanks for bringing this game to my attention. i would watch you play more if you enjoy it and get good support on this video
What a lovely game, definetly giving it a shot! If you're open to game suggestions, i would love for you to check out Moonphase Pass, it's a charming little meeple placement rougelite about a witch defending her hut that i feel deserves way more attention than it got (last time i checked i remember it having less than 5 steam reviews). It's a little rough around the edges, the difficulty curve is admittedly strange at points and it's certainly not to everyone's tastes, but it's well worth checking out, i've had a blast with it and i regularly go back to do a run or two when i've got the time.
Added to my backlog, looks like a me kinda game for sure. Thanks!
The graveyard system really reminds me of minesweeper
Hurray weird new game content excited!
Love this one
Great game 😊✨️
Huh, this is really cute actually. I'd love to see a couple more runs. Nice to have some more shorter content on the channel as well n this game is good for it.
I have just made myself a plate of noodles and the best cup of coffee and this is the video I'm choosing to stick with watching while having my break. Good stuff
edit: grammar
Hey this one looks really good! New series incoming? Maybe???
It's a bit of a stretch to call this a deckbuilder. While it could be technically called that, since the graves are pretty much cards you shuffle each turn and turn over, deckbuilder as a genre is generally associated with a game where you draw and play the cards. This is more akin to solitare. The reason I bring this up is that judging by the title I expected a different type of game.
Still - thanks for highlighting this, it looks interesting I'll probably give it a go :)
this game slaps. its so original and fun. so refreshing to play something original
Very cool
Feels like they missed a chance to call it "upgraving" your character
This is one of the shortest videos I've seen on your channel
As someone who does not like deckbuilders at all this looks appealing to me.
Cool game :D
😮😮😮 dirt customization
I like it
More!
v good 💀💀💀
The bgm in this game is a take on a nes game...i cant remember what
I also like the theming of this except using boots as the win condition throws me off. Is there some mythology related to boots I'm unaware of?
I think it’s that he has to walk to his resting place so it’s boots to show him traveling
Hmm, I think shovels would've been better IMO. Not a big deal though.
🎉
I think it should be made clearer that you received this game for free (according to your steam review)
Quite literally 99% of the games I play are received for free. That doesn’t change my opinion of games, I’m going to be honest while reviewing them.
This was super cute
Markiplier is secretly watching this video.
Im the Thousand like nice
Id love to see more of this game but not a series becuase it doesn't look like there is as much replayability as other games.
*sees 6% of a game*
"there doesn't seem to be much replayability"
@@dunderbaer2430 I mean it's really only just blessing that change. It's not like your going to start a run with a different monster than bat. But there is probably more it's just didn't seem very relatable, but I'm most likely wrong
@@hephestusbh1803game just came out on the 9th, too. I just bought it and completed my first run and it seems very fun so far. Plus, it’s only $5USD
hi
Win 6 runs and the runs get longer, and harder.
The term deck has become quite loose nowadays xD
Not sure why you are picking fights before you have other things figured out.
am i dumb or is this game missing a gameplay?
just clicking on hidden cards to reveal what your figure is going to do seems extremely shallow.
but hey, something somethign retro cards. all it needs is an ftl stlyed map and i bet it will sell like candy.
yeah kinda, but it does have potential to find an interesting mechanic for all this nonsense
The strategy is in the items you pick up. It’s just an abstract deckbuilding autobattler
