I don't think it is correct that the eqb lack battery preheating, it doesnt have the manual option to do it, but mine from 2023 certainly preheats the battery when navigating to a charger. I sometimes forgot to do this last winter when it was -10 and colder, and then the charging power was typically 30-40kw. navigating to charger in same conditions at least 30-40min before charging gave above 80kw power when soc was below 30%. the battery conditioning system looks pretty much identical in all eq cars, eqa,eqb,eqc and newer.
@@GokuRunnerV0 the underlying architecture is completely revamped, but the interface is very similar, just some features are different. in the new models you can for instance get wireless carplay, info on how fast the charging speed will be when you arrive on your destination. I suspect there will be more OTA updates as well for the new mbux, there are hints chatgpt in the coming years might become an option to control features in the interface.
I have ordered an EQB 250+ as its supposed to be the better option for range. Not sure if that is available for you as it is for me in the UK. You need to test a 250+ and see what the mega differences are.
I like those tests in bad weather conditions a lot. Thanks for that. If the sensor is blocked by snow and has not enough heating, there‘s a simple life hack: do a short stop and remove dirt/snow and tadaaa, it works again. Seems to a consistent thing during the years as it happened to my VW Passat, my mercedes C-class and my VW Tiguan once in a while when very wet snow fell down during my trips.
We has a EQB 300 with 7 seats and we drove to the lake La Garda from Denmark last year and it was perfect 250-300 km pr charge and i just hamrede it with 160 km/h as much i cut total 5 charging Sessions and a total drive of 4200 km on 9 dages 4 kids 2 adults
I was also deciding between DJI Mic 2 , allowing modern connection to phones through Lightning/USB-C or BT) or more old school Rode, but apparently the quality of sound is more important and I’m not surprised ppl on internet reviewing DJI Mic 2 are not sincere.
12:40 that with the radio is the same on a Sprinter, but you can also say that the previous driver muted the Musik and the current driver thinks the radio is broken or has an issue... I'm sure at Daimler the team had a chat about the same thing...

The sheeeet, ABC and other repetitive stuff has not worn off yet, I am sure with time it will. Tesla made the historic mistake of putting the charge port on the left side, which in most countries with RHD is the wrong side. In cities where you charge on the street, plugs that stick out to the street, tend to get damaged by passing cyclists.
We need a charge plug eject button... It should push out the plug, and close the port. The charger should pull in the cable.... That would be so awesome. And not that hard to build.
I get exactly the same messages in my GLB, even though the sensor is clean - it's really annoying, it never happened on my Audi. I have never had such a strange car before, it even changes to 130 on the sign display when I drive into a 50 Km/h. zone. The sign view is super slow to catch the signs, my Audi change immediately!
The limiter works unless you "override" it by using the kickdown in the drive pedal. As long as you don't push too hard you should be able to rest your foot on it though and just apply full throttle w/o kickdown. Also I don't think the radar sensors are heated in Mercedes vehicles.

can confirm. I have near 30 000km behind me with eqb, d auto gives the lowest consumption, in particular if you use the cruise control, as the car computer will then do anticipatory driving for you. on a highway test like this there is not so much regen done so no big difference.

Not a bad machine if you want a bit more space than in a ‘car’, but I couldn’t consider this as people carrier as the 3rd row is just too tight… making it really a 5+2. So, perhaps suited to a younger family with a few kids!
its indeed a 5+2, even mercedes says rearmost seats are for people below 165cm. but if you have kids, they will want to bring friends home, there will be shared driving to sports events, birthdays, etc so then this car is a lifesaver. I think mercedes has nailed it with this car, a good compromise.

Mic sound was too bright and unnatural at least on the detour stretch in my opinion. „S“ and similar letters sounded too sharp. At first that might sound brighter and clearer but after a while it gets annoying.

Affordable EVs for the masses … remember in the old days when carmakers around the world where making cheap cars, to make sure EVERYBODY could drive ? 😊 That is a key 🔐 component that’s definitely missing right now ! the lights are fine, there is battery pre-heating via navigation, max charging speed isnt relevant, only the average. efficiency is perfectly fine for a car of this shape, it compares well to enyaq, id4, aryia, bz4x etc.
My Tesla would have a flat charging curve up to 60% as well if it was limited to 100 kW. 🙄 And you don't really have to pre-heat for that kind of power.
I have had my EQB 300 for almost 1 year. Aside from some glitches with the MBUX it’s been a perfectly good reliable car. I am very happy with it. To make the claim that it has to be one of the worst Mercedes ever made in my opinion is simply a ridiculous statement,unless you can qualify it with some basic reasoning.
@@yellow1oneit has a nice interior but it’s not a good looking car. Charging speed and range is poor. And pricing is insane for what you get, you can get a 4 wheel drive C estate for this money.

Alpitronic also have a 400kW version of the Hypercharger. Seem to be the same size cabinet with 4x100kW instead of the 4x75kW that Uno-X use.
