WRC games never really lacked content, what they lacked is polish and bug fixes. Considering KT will not be adding new content, most of support will go to fixing and polishing game which is win win for players imo.

I’ve never played a single WRC game. I believe this may be the one I get. I’ve been in Dirt way too long and even went as far as completing Sebastien Loeb Rally. I’m guessing it will not be cheap so i’ll wait for black Friday 😁😁

I have only played WRC 8 and 10 they're ok rally games. I prefer Dirt Rally 2.0 by far though it's just more fun and the cars actually sound like Rally cars rather than vacuum cleaners like in WRC.
I stopped buying WRC after 7. They added the idiotic team hiring, improvement and facility management features which made it seem more like a strategy game than an actual racing game. Very 'gamey' to get car and driver 'boosts' with upgrades. Probably won't waste my money with this one either.
Wrc 2,3,evolved, on ps2 has that great "reading the road" feeling, not a feather on the wind modern shit, and fix the graphics, its like a past gen /top gamepc 😠
I have 1 major question about this game before I may buy it, on WRC10 which was the recent rally game that my brother bought, as well as the driving of the rally cars, there is also the management of the crew, resting when need be and a number of other things which I think has made it to be too much concentration required as I want a rally game where you've got your career to driver the cars, options to change the car set ups, buy liverys and car paint etc but I think managing the crew totally destroys the game as I don't think that is needed in a rally game and am just wondering is it going to be involved in WRC Generations as I don't want to buy the game and find out the managing of the crew is involved again?

This is a win in a lot of ways and will definitely pick it up on PS5. Hoping the heavier cars is an improvement to the physics, no more cars flying 25 feet into the air 😏

for controller, i would stick to the dirt series with dirt 2. in WRC Generations Gravel, Dirt and Snow feel very unrealistic. The cars are sliding like crazy. The cars feel too light and the smallest and lightest object you could imagine, can flip our car. for example, at the end of a rally there are the 2 "end" signs left and right. if your drive against it, the 1000kg car will not push it away. The fkn 1kg small sign will flip your car. And on Ice stages, the smallest scratch on a pile of snow left and right of the track also will flip your car.
The dev should make a Japan drift rally game. If they lost the license for this game branch out and try something similar but new. People would love it.
At 3:28 you can clearly see that they have used old assets for years now. For example, Rally Finland has changed it's main sponsor from Neste to Secto Automotive in 2021, and still you can see old Neste-banners in Harju special stage. Even in WRC10, the Rally Finland's rally plate says Secto, but in the menus, it reads Neste Rally Finland. It's a crazy oversight from the developers, since this is supposed to be an official virtual representation of the sport.

No Pilot Career Mode = No Buy. All I wanted was to play through the career mode with my friend in coop where he's driving and I'm the pilot. Too bad they didn't give this option.

I wish they would add sixaxis support for controlling the cars like GT7. Since I started using it I can’t go back to thumb sticks. It’s such a simple solution for those of us who won’t go out and buy a bulky, expensive steering wheel setup.

For me what keeps me interested in long term is rally. Just rally. In dr 2.0 and in wrc10 i know all the stages and the cars but as a rally lover i just sometimes put PS on and go for some stage flat out. Career mode is also a good thing that is done very goodly in wrc games.

But EA wants to milk E-Sports for sure for all it is worth.

Big fanboy dirt 2.0 here , and 2 months ago I bought also the wrc10 ( last one was wrc 2015) and I was shocked by the advance they made with this game , the ffb it's even better than dirt 2n0 , you feel more connected with the car ,more fine details of the ground , the physics and weight transfer, are still a little better in dirt 2.0 but not miles ahead like used to be , now the wrc it's kinda close , also the sound it's very realistic and close to the dirt 2.0 , mmm very impressed, I would buy also the generation game no doubt ( I have a sim lab simrig and ts xw wheel)
Not seeing how this is worth spending money when things like Rallysimfans Richard Burns Rally exist. It has over 200 stages and dozens of cars as well. And an active online community with championships, daily stages and so on.
What does that even mean? Rallying is just the driver, the car, and the road. If the player has a love for that, your question doesn't mean anything. Who cares about the stats screen at the end of the run. Beginner or pro, if you love rally cars, you never ask that question, you just want the pleasure of having your car on your road, end of story.
You know what he means. Will the game have a SEGA RALLY mode where you can crash as much as you like and still win or will it be just be for those that like the challenge of reality. Pity KT hasn't achieved the later yet.
This is not a need for speed game. You can not do fully throttle and here i go. This games teach you how rwd is driven. Also fwd. Also you can not do 1 curves at 100 km/h. Realistic yes. In my early days i struggled but i can tell you i installed Need for Speed (gamepass) and after 2 hours i was bored. I really like all the adjustments you have to do according to stage you gonna perform.

We still need better solutions like public transit and subways and less suburban sprawl. Since moving back to NYC I saved tons not owning a car or motorcycle and its great

Better have steering linearity in the settings... WRC 10 doesn’t have it and it sucks. DiRT Rally 2.0 has it.
TS PC racer is terrible for me in 10 as in not usable.
I just tried it again and it is working now .
I personally just turn off the wheel in game and like to see my own instead because it looks better that way

No official VR support from the devs. Wheel support should be a lot better than in WRC10, so I've been told by someone working for KT Racing or Nacon.
