Thanks, it's awesome to hear I can provide value in that sense. Something I want to do as I continue on is to provide more looks into the meta as there's a lot of awesome stuff out there, such as an Admech and Sisters list I'll be covering the near future.
Thanks, and the new units will be a great addition as one thing that started to become noticeable while making this series is that Sisters have a lot of build paths, but their model range is somewhat limited.
@@Techpriest That is true! It has made it easier to just buy one of about all the main units to get started. I tend to decide on how I want to build based on what I like to paint which I think will make Sisters fun for me. With Piety and Pain releasing soon I am looking at Drukhari as a second army. My brother and I will probably do some sort of slow grow Crusades campaign using those 2 armies. When the new codex for Drukhari releases I would love to see your take on it. Do you plan on getting it or Piety and Pain?
@@theboardgamebuff2732 I'm not sure if I'll get Piety and Pain as of yet, mostly because of how much I have in the backlog already, but I'm definitely excited for Drukhari. I almost started them instead of Admech when coming back to the game.
I remember you asked for ideas about what to do, im just starting 40k and am a bit confused about each stage of the game so you could do a video on each phase and how it works? i dont really understand the charge phase personally
Thanks! I actually started a new series for 9th Edition, so it is definitely in the works. The series can be found here: th-cam.com/users/Techpriestplaylists Also, keep an eye out for the new series "On the Fringe" as next week will feature a Sisters list.
Thanks again for the series, love that you're re-visiting it when the new Sisters stuff drops. I know you mentioned it'd be interesting if the Paragon (which I'm really excited for) provided a second Troops choice for the sisters but what kinda unit would you pick it as being if you had to bet on it? Kinda hoping Heavy Support myself but really just hoping it's not an Elites choice as that seems a category Sisters are already more than sorted for.
Happy to be of help, and I always plan to revisit factions as more comes out for them. As for the Paragon, I'm betting it's a Troop choice as most factions seem to trend towards having a low cost option and a beefy high cost option these days for troops, which would really cover that for Sisters while looking like a basic Sister. Outside of that I could see Heavy Support or sadly Elite, but I'm really hopeful that GW understands that making it an Elite is a really bad idea. One thing to also consider, is that it could occupy more than one slot as well, as is the norm for Sisters kits, so maybe it will have two different versions which would be awesome. More choice is something I'm always in support of.
I am a big fan of Multi-melta Celestian Squads as moving and firing a heavy weapon is not really a hindrance when a nearby Canoness lets you re-roll all misses.
They've definitely grown on me. Part of it is also in the back of my head I still remember where if you moved a heavy weapon you couldn't shoot it, so that might bias me a bit.
I can't tell you how nice these vids have been for someone that can't follow the meta and results like they used to. I appreciate it!

@@Techpriest Super excited to hear that one 👀
The Sisters series has been great for me to learn about the army I am building. I am really looking forward to the new units.

Great stuff. Would like to see another treatment like this on the latest tourney lists under the new "stuff". Thanks. The tables really help.

Whoop whoop 🙌
Hopefully no one notices I uploaded it with the placeholder name at first.

Ive come to this same conclusion! Been running 5 girl squads, but tempted to take one 10 strong with melta and combiflamer.
