I Made an Engagement Ring From Scratch and Proposed During The Totality of the Solar Eclipse!

- In this one, we set upon what is undoubtedly the most important video I've ever made. We are making an engagement ring for Alexis from scratch, starting with all raw materials, including smithing and faceting. It was a very fun challenge, if not a little stressful, but I am unbelievably happy with the end result! The stone is a hydrothermal lab sapphire that we cut into a portuguese round surrounded by a halo of natural diamonds set in Silver. After finishing the ring, we left for a cross country road trip from Montana to Florida, stopping in Missouri for the total eclipse. I figured "how often do you get the opportunity to propose during the totality of an eclipse?" and managed to catch the moment on camera. I hope you all enjoy this amazing adventure and I will have another one out soon!
