When Mourinho saying amazing and crazy soo many times prove that how good was R9🤯
The best ever !
He is a top striker you will love to have in your team. I haven't seen his type of recent. Phenomenon!
@@yusufadebola4988there’s two that comes to mind but they’re retired to and one has R9s power shots from way outside the box and the other had his explosive speed and the delicate of touches to put it past the keeper!
I know you want to know who I’m talking about but I cannot tell you!
Nah I can’t leave you hanging but Owen and Shevchenko and I’m a UTD fan 😅
@@jaysparrow6631I'll suggest you look at George Weah at AC Milan. Phenomenal!
When asked about R7 his eyes don’t lit up and his only remark was professional and dedicated but R9 was a different animal 47 goals at Barca as a 19 year old makes everyone else look like an extra
Its easy to forget he was still a teenager at this time in Barca. He was 19. 47 goals in 49 games... only 19
Another thing ppl tend to forget that he's made Captain as such a young age when he's transferred to Inter too ❤️
And also that was his one and only season

And these goals are solo dribbling from the midfield. Not just any ordinary poaching

Verdad?

Im new to football watching, but would he have excelled in england ?
I watch spanish football, its boring. Excuse my ignorance.
@@markm4603 do people like u think football started in 2016? From the 80s the two best leagues in the world were the Italian league and Spanish league, England wasn't in the conversation. All the absolute best players in the 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s didn't play in the EPL the was a reason for that. What league is ever the best and yet didn't produce one FIFA World player of the year( the award that was combined with the Ballon dor and became FIFA ballon dor in 2009 until in 2016 when they wer separated again) in 4 decades . From 2008 to 2017 the were no EPL players in the FIFA world 11, that was for a reason. The EPL became the best in the 2010s when their TV money skyrocketed and billionaires bought the teams b4 that they were the crap league whose teams won less than 5 UCL from 85 to 2018.😅😅😅 would he make it in England? U ignorant fans shouldn't speak about football when u clearly know nothing about its history. It's why u EPL fans think Tap in Haaland is anywhere near R9 the 19 yr old finishing 2nd in Ballon dor losing by 1 point and winning it at 20 yrs old( scoring 47 goals in 49 at 19) the youngest ever. Could do everything an attacking player can do. EPL fans really are the most ignorant and the most stupid fans in the world, thank u for reminding us of that.😅
@@markm4603 he excelled in italy vs super tough (or even violent) defenders and overall super defensive teams, in the toughest league in the world at the time so... i don't have any doubt about that. If u can imagine a CR7/Messi combo, it's R9. He was that strong.
@@ManiacoSensualeCR7-Messi Combo = R9? Big word my man… nothing came closer to Messi especially in dribbling and scoring. Not to mention his bird eye view and superb pass/assist. His awareness to teammates and opponents’ positions during a match is second to none. The only player who can do that..
Yes CR7 and R9 were great players, but Messi still far above for both of them…
@markm4603 Thanks for honest question,Ronaldo was a beast!he was very strong for his age, fast, highly skilled&prolific goal scorer basically what EPL is all about, yes he would have left his mark.To make it clearer for you:Combination of Ronaldinho,Adama Traore&Mbappe.Of course everyone has their own analysis but that's Ronaldo for me.Cafu&Lucio were their fathers&uncles combined!Wayward off the pitch but during the game these two guys made them understand there was massive Brazilian reputation to defend.
Surely the most naturally gifted footballer ever. Mbappe sized and speed with Messi dribbling. Golden ball aged 19, fast, strong. Those damn knees robbed us of a messi/CR7 career.
Without injuries, R9 would have easily been the goat.
That’s Maradona but yeah Ronaldo was amazing.
He was lazy.
And that was the reason of his injury.
He robbed himself to become one of the greatest ever more than Pele and maradona.
Italian league was known to be tough, he humiliated the defender's in Italy so they tackled/fouled him horrifically in packs to stop him hence why he had horrific knee injuries in Italy...Most of his career he was only 70% fit and yet he still performed top level for Real Madrid and was a top scorer for Brazil in 2002 world Cup.
@@zakiqbal79100 % ball knowledge….
R9 would make haaland look like a stoke city player.
Haaland is a trained product if you really observe him well. Where as this guy was just magic with the ball.
Yeah bro, Haaland did not know how to dribble or step over or snake dribble.. just wait for midfielder to feed him to score while R9 bring the ball from half field and then dribble all include goalkeepers.. he did it 89 times, 89 times score while dribble the keeper.. how many times messi and cr7 dribble the keeper?? That’s why he is the GOAT
Man plz don’t underestimate the great R9 but putting those names beside his name
Haland is different style bruh, player who so close with R9 style is adriano.
Italian football murdered him. Back then italian culture in football was savage
Because he was in the wrong place and time (INTER MILAN).. Italy is famous for their defenders who are strong and mentally like crazy..
Tf you mean ? He popped his knee while he was making a forward run
That is why u have to respect batistuta
Nah. When he went to PSV, he was skinny as Neymar was at Barcelona, and they make him gain too many muscles and weight. Then, to his type of game using explosion and shifting, that was a bad decision and unfortunately his knees couldn't resist 😢

The good old days. Before social media, before smartphones, before the downfall of humanity. Young Brazilian players used to be an absolute joy to watch. R9 and Ronaldinho brought happiness to the viewers. These types of players sadly don’t exist anymore
There are issues that came with the tool that provides instant gratification but it has also helped connect the World much better. Now we can learn and form connections around the World and help each other grow rather than just love in the delusion of our own idealism without having to test its merit because we didn't have knowledge or access to it. Ignorance is bliss, but with the internet and its normalization it has mostly become a choice rather than a circumstance.
Humanity was already declining before social media but social definetly sped it up
You are so on point, its pure theatrics in football its lost realness and magic am glad I got tu see R9 and Ronaldihno play with pure joy
when brazilian teams met the other teams from abroad they didn't know much about them so they just had fun playing and they used to win all the matches against the foreigners. with social medial they started following the rich celebrities and imitating their tattoos, cars, shampoos, boots and celebrate like the europeans. nowadays on the moment they have to face those teams they are hypnotized and more concerned about how they are going to ask their idols for an autograph than winning the games against them.

Ronaldinho?
@@olisejay2316no….
@@olisejay2316 Ronaldinho Gaucho was -maybe- in the top 10 best Brazilian players, and that's a monumental maybe, more likely in the low Top 20 - the degree of talent in Brazilian football in the 60s-90s (pre-internet, pre-TH-cam, pre-social media) was insane.
You're gonna see a billion videos on TH-cam about Ronaldinho because there's a billion minutes of footage from his career - nobody is out there trying to spent months gathering VHS tapes from Rivelino, Garrincha, Socrates, Zico, Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto etc just to make 3 dollars in ad revenue when the video goes up.
Also not to be dismissed is the fact Ronaldinho himself was extremely lazy with an abysmal work rate - compared to his 5ish year 'peak' I'd say most people who understand the sport would rank people like Kaka (who weren't as showman-like but were dedicated, hard-working players who delivered consistent, reliable results through 10-20 year career spans) higher on such a list.

Great player makes the game look easier than usual, Ronaldo was such a player.
Biggest factor in his injury was the playstyle in Italy. He said he was facing much more physical challenges every minute in italy than in Spain.
The other factor was inter demanding him to get to the ball unlike barca getting the ball to him. He was running and exhausting himself more in inter.
He could've had a better and a longer career if he had stayed in barcelona

For me the best football player there ever was!
R9 after Barcelona: 😴 🤷♂️😁
R9 AT Barcelona: 😈 😱🪄🤩🤩🤩
And many people saying Messi and CR7 was better than R9. That's impossible!
This is the problem with that Brazilian side, they were so naturally talented and gift (probably the world has ever seen!) but they were lazy to the training and practice because their mentality is too have fun with the game. The European style is to make everything systematic and "planned". This didn't fit with the personality of the boys which is why they didn't have longer careers, also the injuries they suffered because of how physical it was back then. They would run circles in the modern era of football where the ref calls a foul on the slightest touch.
It's unfortunate we didn't get too see them last longer but sometimes good things aren't meant to last.
That’s why the hazard project failed in Madrid
Cause they were more concerned with what he was doing outside the pitch
