@@markm4603 do people like u think football started in 2016? From the 80s the two best leagues in the world were the Italian league and Spanish league, England wasn't in the conversation. All the absolute best players in the 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s didn't play in the EPL the was a reason for that. What league is ever the best and yet didn't produce one FIFA World player of the year( the award that was combined with the Ballon dor and became FIFA ballon dor in 2009 until in 2016 when they wer separated again) in 4 decades . From 2008 to 2017 the were no EPL players in the FIFA world 11, that was for a reason. The EPL became the best in the 2010s when their TV money skyrocketed and billionaires bought the teams b4 that they were the crap league whose teams won less than 5 UCL from 85 to 2018.😅😅😅 would he make it in England? U ignorant fans shouldn't speak about football when u clearly know nothing about its history. It's why u EPL fans think Tap in Haaland is anywhere near R9 the 19 yr old finishing 2nd in Ballon dor losing by 1 point and winning it at 20 yrs old( scoring 47 goals in 49 at 19) the youngest ever. Could do everything an attacking player can do. EPL fans really are the most ignorant and the most stupid fans in the world, thank u for reminding us of that.😅

There are issues that came with the tool that provides instant gratification but it has also helped connect the World much better. Now we can learn and form connections around the World and help each other grow rather than just love in the delusion of our own idealism without having to test its merit because we didn't have knowledge or access to it. @@olisejay2316 Ronaldinho Gaucho was -maybe- in the top 10 best Brazilian players, and that's a monumental maybe, more likely in the low Top 20 - the degree of talent in Brazilian football in the 60s-90s (pre-internet, pre-TH-cam, pre-social media) was insane.
You're gonna see a billion videos on TH-cam about Ronaldinho because there's a billion minutes of footage from his career - nobody is out there trying to spent months gathering VHS tapes from Rivelino, Garrincha, Socrates, Zico, Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto etc just to make 3 dollars in ad revenue when the video goes up.
Also not to be dismissed is the fact Ronaldinho himself was extremely lazy with an abysmal work rate - compared to his 5ish year 'peak' I'd say most people who understand the sport would rank people like Kaka (who weren't as showman-like but were dedicated, hard-working players who delivered consistent, reliable results through 10-20 year career spans) higher on such a list.

This is the problem with that Brazilian side, they were so naturally talented and gift (probably the world has ever seen!) but they were lazy to the training and practice because their mentality is too have fun with the game. The European style is to make everything systematic and "planned". This didn't fit with the personality of the boys which is why they didn't have longer careers, also the injuries they suffered because of how physical it was back then. They would run circles in the modern era of football where the ref calls a foul on the slightest touch.
It's unfortunate we didn't get too see them last longer but sometimes good things aren't meant to last.
