A little tip for anyone wanting to do this. You don’t have to remove the cup holder, just put the shift knob up in park or reverse and pull the whole thing towards the rear and lift. My hardest part was removing the little pin in the factory knob. Great tutorial btw. Next will be the steering wheel.
Great video!! People might also want to switch out their dead CUE screen while doing this, you are most of the way there when all of this trim is removed.
Thank you so much, I had the same suede handle laying around since January and thought it would be much more complicated to replace (based on my previous experience with '06 STS). Did it in 20 minutes from the 1st time thanks to your guidance, and next one probably would be under 10 minutes if needed
Might you help me ? I have the same problem, my car stayed in R and when I go to P the lever gets stuck, he positioned the lever in P to start the engine and the dashboard shows gear in R. What do you think it is?
It's cup holder cover, got it on ebay. On ebay, search for, "Piano Black Plastic Cup Holder Cover For 2013-2019 Cadillac ATS ATS-V High Gloss" The black button is a wireless remote to hit "manual recording" my rear mount dash cam.
I plan on buying the barton shift knob adapter for the camaro but I'm trying to figure out which one pairs with our 6mt. Is it a screw holding it? If so is it on the side or the back?
This video also helped me figure out how to access the usb port in the armrest console to swap it out.

What do you have over your cupholders? And what does the knob on it do?
