I am fan of Jaya Pradha and Sridevi. Both were Apsara at that time. Both had their own talent and looks. There was no question about competition and hatred. Both were with unique personalities and qualities. Rather than, unnecessarily hating each other, they had to move by respect and understanding to each other. To all, always love and respect to each other, in personal & professional level. Nobody can say when time and person can be replace by other one. Both Sridevi and Jayaprada were director's actresses. But Jaya was a method actor and Sridevi was a great observer. That made her more aware of the medium and she excelled far to Jayaprada in profession. Sridevi was the only female actor who's comic timing was unmatched. Infact, Meenakshi Sheshadri once taunted Sridevi, that making funny faces doesn't account to good acting, but literally made unsuccessful attempts to copy Sridevi's comic style. All to no avail, Sridevi was the one and only. While you also cannot compare Sridevi with Jayaprada, because although Sridevi was the undisputed ruler in Hindi cinema, there still exists a hard core Jayaprada fanbase down south.

Meenakshi was an amazing classical dancer and a very talented actress.....but Sri devi was having an affair with Boney Kapoor....so got to the top. Jaya Prada and Meenakshi Seshadri were the two MOST BEAUTIFUL actresses of their time.....but they weren't compromising with directors etc. to get roles...so only got so many roles Sridevi was all plastic....🤢🤢, and her acting was forced to look natural....in other worder u cd tell she was acting the role, it didn't come naturally.....it didn't look natural. If two actors styles are the same it doesn't mean they are copying each other....just like two complete strangers can look alike...it.doesn't mean they are related.
