Nice to see you for first time 😊 Definitely you are one of the best, your ideas and your way to approach the journaling is different , you're like an old school 💖 your art comes from your creativity, you make the most with what you have...I love to print vintage ephemera from Pinterest too and to give them a more real look I use Tim Holtz distress inks and crayons in colors like vintage photo, old paper, walnut stain, peeled paint, etc.

Thanks for sharing! I've definitely gotten a lot of tips from your channel and have evolved my journaling style - and it's also a lot cheaper with the magazine/book clippings! I don't think I ever want to spend a ton of money on ephemera anymore haha!
Exactly haha! I know what you mean, ever since I've discovered how to use books and magazines as ephemera I have not wanted to go back! Neither has my wallet 😂

That is so good to hear Cynthia!! You can adhere fabric with tacky glue or some sort of fabric adhesive, or even as simple as a paperclip! Edging the pages will also make your journal even more yummy!! Great idea!

I have used paper napkins! They're so inexpensive and there are some lovely patterns at Tuesday Morning and the Dollar store.

Aww thank you Marilyn! I tend to use midori and chic sparrow brands for my notebooks and I usually get a new journal insert every 3-4 months roughly 😊
