Another lovely display!Such treasures. I'd love to see your paintings in your shop. :) I had to laugh when you pointed out the date for the "vintage" recipe card being all the way from "1987". lol!! I was born in 79 so I actually remember 1987. :) Ha!! It gave me a huge smile tho. I love the idea of getting older cards from thrift stores or antique shops. I think I'll go hunt this week in fact! Thank you for the inspiration! I tried to water color a bit in my new travelers sized journal.....it was pretty but the paint i used dried very chalky....it'll be interesting to see how it accepts ink. Thank you as always for sharing such beautiful treasures and inspiration!

I would probably need to make a journal out of a drawer to fit everything in! lol Such inspirational ideas, I love quotes too and in every language I can understand! So fun to see your watercolor washes, and your Jane Davenport Peerless watercolors! I am a big fan of Jane's too! Did you make the Peerless palette? If so, Maybe you could do a video of setting one up. I have her colors, but I don't believe the set up "palette" was available. I actually want to limit the colors a bit so I can make one Field Note size for my Mr. Darcy!
Yes I did make the peerless palate and what an awesome idea! I will film one on how I assemble the pallet into field notes because just like you that is my comfort size :) thank you very much for all the love and support ☺️

Great video! The original Midori is very wonderful, I love mine too! And saying that, I have to admit I just ordered a custom Traveler's notebook (not Midori). Because I have a problem, ha ha! I loved seeing inside yours and have subscribed to your channel and hope to see more videos from you!

i really like your designs, next time you do a review, pre-plan and bookmark what you can show and use another paper or sticky note to cover your personal journal entry. what i really like this the different types of artsy stuff in the journal, overall great TN keep up the creative work and be an inspiring you.

Could you use it just like a journal? I really enjoy journaling and love to have a leather one.
I don't really care to decorate my journal, I mainly use my planner for that.

I got my clear pocket holder from amazon. Just type in midori clear zipper pouch and so many sites carry them, I hope this helped! :)

What paper/inserts do you use for journaling?

I mean doesn't it buckle a lot? How much can it handle? Thanks! :)
+Kaye Cambare the paper does buckle and gets crinkly if you use a lot of water on it but I tend to add gesso first and then watercolor into it.:)
