I'l be building some fun terrain for Moonstone soon, starting with a harbour scene, can't wait for that. The terrain and mat in the video are from Battle Systems. You can find them here: amzn.to/45VRPtT
Now I wish you had played against someone so the cards were a surprise. I have to get this so I understand the tactics better. Was there a way for Drunk Fritz to go defensive in a way that could have prevented all of Sid’s damage going through?
I will be playing against other players for battle reports but this more of a how to play demo to accompany the main video. Drunk Fritz could have chosen more defensive cards like low guard or high guard. The Melee deck is made up of offensive and defensive cards.
I really like the card mechanic on this, seems a bit more intuitive than Malifaux which I've tried to get into before. Can I ask what card sleeves you use for the Moonstone cards?
Can you clarify something please Lee? At around 19 minutes when Drunk Fritz melee attacks Beaky Bobby - Fritz has 2" range but Bobby only has 1" range and they are standing more than 1" apart. Should Bobby be able to play attack cards in melee when defending in that situation? I thought you'd said something in the How to Play video about characters not being able to hit back if the attacker was outside the defenders range, but I might have picked it up wrong?
Sure, in that scenario Beaky Bobby should still play the melee cards but won't deal the damage. I may have made a mistake there if the damage was applied, well spotted!
I used Dragon Shield sleeves. That worked out great, really good for the Melee and Arcane cards to shuffle with and lets me write on the Character cards too. If you'd like some, here's a link to the exact ones I use: amzn.to/45NSTjX Some people like to use more robust ones for the Character cards, which is a god idea. I might upgrade for the characters at some point, but these are working great.
It looks good but jeezoos they trying to be GW with their prices??? 100 dollar entry fee for 2 players is ridiculous. That's a no go and I can see it not taking off because of this very reason. And expansion packs are not cheap either...
I just love the idea of a skirmish battle game taking place around the task of walking 16 meters home while drunk!
It’s so fun
I love the scenery you’ve used

Just ordered the village terrain!
Hey nice one! Have fun getting it built. It's so cool, comes with furniture and everything!

Is all the terrain on the board included in the starter set? It looks really good.

Awesome terrain and board set up

I've not tried Malifaux yet. The card sleeves are Dragon Shield Clear Classic. Size 63x88mm ... 100 in a pack.
When doing the arcane, what happens if the defender guesses right or it's a draw?

@@tabletopskirmishgames ok great, so they can still defend i.e. reduce the damage taken, using any melee card, but they can't do damage - gotcha!
Where did you get that miniature D4? 🤩 I've been looking for something to show a character is carrying moonstones on the models themselves
I got those from Dice Shop Online, they have lots of colours to choose from ... www.thediceshoponline.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=d4+10mm
Where you get the terrain?
Looks like you laminated your cards? How is that working out?
