One of those kickstarter that I passed on but wish I hadn't. I did pick up the base game after the kickstarter to try it out. The minis are great but still haven't had a chance to play.
Great job on doing a shout out for Goblin King Games and Moonstone.

I think they do excellent work. The game is very interesting; the only problem really is the card mechanisms mean it isn't something that's easy to play solo, unlike the other skirmish games I play.

My friends got me into moonstone around the time this Kickstarter was up, I got the starter set but I held off on the KS because it was all so new. Wish I had got it because I'm moonstone mad now haha

It's a really fun game, and the miniatures are superb. Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

Good stuff. Thanks ABNB. With the free handing the book do you think it would be possible to print suitable grimoire pages and just stick them on. I don’t know if it would work. What do you think?

It's definitely an approach, and as long as you seal it afterwards I don't see a problem, really. I am going to freehand it though. I have done it before, it's just not something I'm great at.

I have smaller open books and I am going to try it on them. I look forward to seeing these guys in the future@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring

Good luck with the books. Let me know how they turn out.

My pledge manager is still open for them, oddly. I didn't commit because another campaign ate my funds. I'll eventually pick some up though.

It's a wonderful game with really great miniatures. I've personally been very happy with everything I've bought for it so far.

I can see why you broke your golden rule. The figures are lovely.
Do you plan to do any play through videos like you did with your Rangers of Shadow Deep (insert polite cough here) 😀

The miniatures are incredible. I’ve been meaning to do a playthrough for ages, I am hoping to get around to it soon.

ENVY! I am sitting here, waiting for my package. I almost backed both prior kickstarters in the past, but the price point held me back. But this time I had the resources so I started my collection with some troupe boxes all over the place. The gnomes I am okay with, strangely enough I have my issues with the elves. Though they are a cool fairy-tale/folklore type of elves and not some stereotypical Tolkiens I find them a little bit too weird to get them right away. I love the style but I fear that the resin does not work well with the amount of detail, i.e. brittle breaking off of small parts. I had this issue with some of the Arena Rex miniatures.

I should stress, I don't think the gnomes are bad; they just don't appeal to me as much as the others. I want to stick to the goblins for now, really - goblin wars between knights and pirates is a really fun idea. I hope you get your stuff soon.

Hello, I missed this kickstarter and would be interested in picking up some of the minis. Would you be willing to sell any of yours?

I'm afraid my Moonstone stuff is not for sale. I am currently running a competition over on Facebook to win a copy of the Coronation Chicken miniature if you haven't seen it yet.

If only Game Workshop did resin miniatures that well.

I think I only have one resin GW miniature, and that's Slambo. But yes, the quality of these resin miniatures is exceptional. I can't get over how good the Voth miniature is.

    Very very labyrinth

    • @AlwaysBoardNeverBoring

It does have that feel. It's a really nice mix of that Brian Froud style of fairytale wonder with a dash of Terry Gilliam and Terry Pratchett thrown in for good measure.

This game appeals to me so much because it really does remind me of so many cool childhood things: Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Lavender Castle, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Time Bandits, and so on.

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring you know... the things you were talking about in the vid. Having a hard time finding people for very niche games. That's a subject. I've been living myself. And there's so damn meny niche games today.
