Oh.. my Goodness. Thank you thank you thank you, I had flipped the breaker but did not leave it in the off position for long enough. I did it for 30 seconds and my washing machine has turned on again! I am so grateful I’m almost in tears.

Ok i changed the rubber boot or rubber seal on a Kenmore elite HE i took everything apart in first day the next day i put the new rubber seal on now when is time to turn on no power it was working fine before i took it apart i try everything but a tiny click is coming from the board when i plug it in any advice

Hi Michael, We have Samsung Ecobubble 7kg. Which isn't turning on. I saw you video and watched option number one two weeks ago. I did the same. The washing machine turned on. We were very happy and thankful to you. But after, I noticed that every time, we had to turn it on, we had to use the option one to turn it on. After few washing, the machine started to behave like stubborn horse. We had to apply option number one again and again. But now it isn't turning on at all. Please guide us to next step. Verify all wiring is properly secured & no signs of damage. If all looks good, your panel may have been in it’s early stages of failure & has now finally called it quits. I did steps 1 and 2..My mother gave me her used washer she had for 10yrs now. It was working fine until the movers brought it to my home. I believe something is loose or came out
Thanks for watching & that’s a bummer it is giving you troubles since the move. It’s very possible that something is loose or it was damaged during the move. Tough to say exactly what caused this, maybe unplugging unit & allowing it to sit unplugged for 30 minutes. This is another form of system reset.
@@DIYwithMichaelBorders Once it arrived, the power never came on. It was a struggle to bring it up several stairs in my backyard. So I believe it's either damaged or something is loose. I will have a friend come look at. Thanks for the quick response 🙂
I did the step number one test and it did light up with a flash as if I had turned on the power, but then it goes back off and when you plug it in it still doesn't come on? Any idea what would that possibly mean?

Thanks for watching. This allows the system computer to go into emergency mode which protects itself as the breaker reset procedure simulates a power surge or power outage.
I have tried steps one and two and it still isn’t working fully. I have an LG washer and when I click the power button it turns on but it will not let me select a cycle and cycle options. After about 30 seconds of being on it starts beeping very fast and counting down from 6 to 0, then saying end, and turning off itself. Any suggestions???

Thanks for watching and let’s get this figured out. If you are hearing a clicking sound, try your best to locate the exact spot the clicking is coming from. This will usually be inside the panel or on your door. The door actually has a door lock switch/mechanism that activates when the cycle is started... in other words...locks the door so you cannot open it during the cycle. If this fails, a new door lock switch will hopefully get you back up and running. If you hear the door lock switch activating, then this will not be your issue and you need to focus on your control panel. Keep us posted. 😎👍🔧🔩

Ok so while following your steps to reset breaker, which wasn’t it, I took off the front control panel and I check the wires on the front control board and found a connector had snapper off. The group of wires that are connected in line with what looks like a quick connect but it’s not. It’s more like a plug, but the plug its solder into the circuit control board. That whole group snap off at the plugs. I could couldn’t see that they were because the wires are tucked back under the circuit board and it happened to move just enough for me to see a part of the connector and realized something was amiss.

Press and hold Smart Control button for 3 seconds. 3. Press and hold temp button for 7 seconds. 4. Turn machine off and leave off for 5 minutes. 5. Hi Michael , HELP! I have a Samsung Front Load Washer (Model WF365BTBGSF 4.1 cu ft). I followed the steps in this video and the machine started back up but it only runs for about 5 minutes and shuts down. Initially the machine displayed an error code (AE). I followed your reset steps (Step 2 - removing power to the machine via the breaker) and the machine reset. It started back up and ran for the five minutes and shut down. The AE code no longer displays - the machine display simply goes blank and eventually powers down. The AE - fault code indicates a communication issue.of the washers main components. I opened the machine, inspected it (as per video 3) and decided to replace the main control panel (DC92-01527C) - RESULT: NO Change Machine still powers down after starting up, provided it is unplugged or the electrical panel breaker has been turned off (removing all power to the machine) for an extended period before turning it back on. You suggest removing all power for 30 seconds in your video, I left it a little longer. My sense is there is a capacitor somewhere that needs to be replaced. I saw two on the main board but my guess is they regulate power to the components on the PCB and there must be another regulating the motor.
Mark Russell Thanks for sharing Mark. Let’s get this figured out. Replacing your capacitors may definitely help. Prior to replacing any parts, inspect all wiring and wire connection points and verify no signs of stress... melted wires, bent wires, burned wires... Also verify all connection points are properly secured. Even the slightest loose connection point can lead to an electrical shortage which will definitely cause the communication fault (AE). While inspecting connection points, verify there are absolutely no signs of moisture or corrosion building up on points. As the years go on, most washers form rust in certain spots and our goal is to verify no rust has begun to call the connection points home. You may also want to check your actual outlet on the wall that the washer plugs into. Although it is uncommon, we just spoke to a fellow TH-cam DIY’er & he figured out that the cause of his machine malfunctioning was a loose outlet.... after finding that, he quickly had it serviced because a loose outlet with that amount of amps present can be very dangerous. Let’s start there... keep the cash in your pocket for the time being. Let’s check off the free items first prior to moving forward with replacing parts. We will get this figured out together Mark. @@DIYwithMichaelBorders Thanks very much for the suggestions. I went through the inspection process prior to replacing the main board. The machine is seven years old and looks like new. It is lightly used given we are a two person household. There is no rust or corrosion. I also confirmed the outlets are serviceable. I have scoured other sites looking for information concerning potential capacitor problems but found nothing. Not really sure what to do.

Even the ever so tiniest leak can cause an interruption in the water pressure inside the machine that the control board and computer monitors...crazy we know...however we can’t rule it out...🤔 😎👍🔧🔩

I saw two on the main board but my guess is they regulate power to the components on the PCB and there must be another regulating the motor.

Thanks for sharing Mark. Let’s get this figured out. Replacing your capacitors may definitely help. Prior to replacing any parts, inspect all wiring and wire connection points and verify no signs of stress... melted wires, bent wires, burned wires...
Also verify all connection points are properly secured. Even the slightest loose connection point can lead to an electrical shortage which will definitely cause the communication fault (AE).
While inspecting connection points, verify there are absolutely no signs of moisture or corrosion building up on points. As the years go on, most washers form rust in certain spots and our goal is to verify no rust has begun to call the connection points home.
You may also want to check your actual outlet on the wall that the washer plugs into. Although it is uncommon, we just spoke to a fellow TH-cam DIY’er & he figured out that the cause of his machine malfunctioning was a loose outlet.... after finding that, he quickly had it serviced because a loose outlet with that amount of amps present can be very dangerous.
Let’s start there... keep the cash in your pocket for the time being. Let’s check off the free items first prior to moving forward with replacing parts. We will get this figured out together Mark.

@@DIYwithMichaelBorders Thanks very much for the suggestions. I went through the inspection process prior to replacing the main board. The machine is seven years old and looks like new. It is lightly used given we are a two person household. There is no rust or corrosion. I also confirmed the outlets are serviceable. I have scoured other sites looking for information concerning potential capacitor problems but found nothing. Not really sure what to do.

Thanks for the update Mark. Let’s go back to the AE code you got a few days back. This indicates a leak. By chance have you noticed any leaks under, near, or around your machine?
Even the ever so tiniest leak can cause an interruption in the water pressure inside the machine that the control board and computer monitors...crazy we know...however we can’t rule it out...🤔
