I have a house right down on the Miss. coast that I`m renting out with a long time occupant living in it and I`m torn between wanting to keep them in the place or get me to move down there more or less permanently The weather looked delightful. Nice project car by the way.
Get a Kodiak chassis for the C50, you can still bolt in the Cummins and put an Allison transmission, then you can do anything with it and not overload that pickup truck chassis, too light weight by itself let alone putting another vehicle on top of it
Hey David, damn you do find the cars. I'm looking for a 39 Mopar businessman coupe. I will take 2 years before and 2 years after, but prefer a 39. Anyway, can't wait to see what you are going to do with this one. I had all kind of ideas while watching the video. Love your channel and videos. Happy New Year
Clutch and Brake on the pedals. Because back then the layout we know today wasn't universal. With the Dodge chassis for the C50. How much weight do you want to carry? Because that might influence if you needing a heavier chassis than a 2500. A modern chassis would be great
do a radical chop to it I saw one this summer it was chopped so much they were practically laying down. and the guy drove it 150 miles to the show. blown big block with zoomies with fenders flat clear coat it
Good project 👍 just so you know the crank for an a model was only used in an emergency. It was stored in the car till needed, unlike the t model, which has it attached to the front all the time.
Those headlights are an aftermarket item from the late 1930s with sealed beams in them; was a popular thing to do to give better light at night. Don't chop it!
yall rough on them doors. I had a 30 model with chop top had mustang 2 front suspension and S-10 rearend no fenders part of hood. I traded it for running and driving 46 dodge coupe with chevy subframe 350/350
Make it a highboy on a deuce frame (million repo frames). 2-3 inches out of the top. Polished Torque Thrust fat skinnies. I'm sure there will be a million build suggestions. Cheapest alternative to a real Deuce.
Nice score Dave, looking forward to seeing what you do with it, How's the sons mini dragster coming along ? Update please. Take care and stay safe, howdy from the west coast. 🤪
For powertour DDspeed shop is working on a 67 camaro, Simon's powerhouse is working on a 66 mustang fastback. What muscle car are you going to be working on?
Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I kinda dig a non-chopped Model A.
i agree now a days they look different since all model A’s are chopped
Same I like them low but non chopped in a old traditional style.
I agree
Nice score. Chop chop
Oh I am sooo jealous! Great find and capture...
Sweet Baracuda.
Love the '30
This rig is sweet David you should get a hold of Merlin,I am sure you know him stay safe great stuff BTW REALLY MISS YOU AND FINNEGAN together!
That conquest in the background thats a rare one for sure
Seems no matter what part of the country you’re standing in, guys and their project cars are the same👍🏻
Awesome
Me and my son used to go quaadin all the time. Miss M days, he's 22 now.
What a great looking Model A. This is going to make a great project 👍👍
That conquest or starion is cool
That red Centurian or whatever they were called is awesome too.
Great content thanks for sharing
Looks like a good collaboration project with Paul Shinn.
Dude!!! Nice buy!!! ✌️
Merlin @ Merlins old school garage will have a literal ton of parts David.
Model A parts are everywhere, no problems finding anything has been my experience, they built loads of em.
@@kiwijeff3964 I did not know that. TY

No doubt many folks are gonna tell ya how to build it. Don't listen to any of them. Get an image in your mind of how YOU want it and make it happen!
Ive had my dads' 31 Model A Street Rod for a few years now. Such a cool car to drive around in. Look forward to see what you do with your '30!
I'm jealous of the Barracuda. I have a '67 notchback I'm working on. It's got straight metal, but the paint and interior is 1/100th of what his is.
A will it run video would be cool. See if you can get ol girl running enough to get herself around the block

I see a empty car trailer going down the interstate. Going to get something cool !
Nice project, Dave. Those two door sedans are so nice for carrying the family. Are you going to add a deuce grille shell?
Merlin garage needs to get a hold of that a model .

Was watching your son do the donut with the Quad, I couldn't stop laughing.

those twin bladed fans r known for flying apart
So- is that what Dulcich's "Bar B-Cuda" would have looked like before it got cooked?
🛠️🔧💪Good Sunday morning to everyone. Just want to say as we go into this new year. Though anything we may go through .Jesus Christ is the answer ✝️🙏💪
I recommend the movie "Hot Rods to Hell" (1966 Dana Andrews) for inspiration and ideas for the Model A.
i vote hellcrate motor for dat barracuda!
Mr. B. Here ! ☕️🍩☕️🍩👀😎👍. I would not cut or chop, Restore Mod it would keep a little of the pass alive ! Good luck Dave !
New truck prices are a joke . Id much rather put money into something lil older for daily driving/ hauling. Good looking model A
Those headlights are an aftermarket item from the late 1930s with sealed beams in them; was a popular thing to do to give better light at night. Don't chop it!
Hey David, I believe that car is a 30 not a 31. A 31 would have a tear drop shaped indent where the fuel filter sits.

I love the look of those old off road tires on the back. I’d drop that body onto a Jeep chassis.
For powertour DDspeed shop is working on a 67 camaro, Simon's powerhouse is working on a 66 mustang fastback. What muscle car are you going to be working on?
Hey Dave is the red conquest/station for sale it was next to your 30 ford when you picked it up I’m interested in it
i would think really carefully before chopping that car , especially by that amount
What can we expect to pay for a 1930 model A like that?
I'm a new viewer.
pretty cool model A, did you end up buying that chassis too?
ooo, what's going on with that Conquest TSi?
Please don’t ls swap it. Stay ford front to back a small block 302-351 Windsor block 5/6 speed and a 9 in rear no chop
Cut that thing, it's already started with later model lights and wheels. Do what you want to it, there's no shortage of them, or parts.
How many times have you driven across Alabama in 2023? (too many!!)
Is the red car there a Chrysler Conquest or a Mitsubishi Starion?
But, did you do any trailer burnouts while in Mississippi?
Let me guess its gonna get a junkyard ls motor 😂
I'd like to have your stock corvette wheels for my build on my TH-cam channel.
I'm not sure how you can pay for everything. I'm sure your wife will have a say in everything you bring home.
Don't chop it. There's enough choppef model As
Why be like everyone else and chop it up? It's ok not to follow the crowd.
Chop
