Good stuff my brother. My girl being doing vinyl & talking about sublimation. I think I'm gonna set her up with this & bc u dropped this knowledge for free, we're buying supplies from u & using your affiliate links for hardware. Good deeds deserve rewards.
On my way to the store to pick up my printer After watching this step by step tutorial I have so much confidence in myself. Big Thank You!! I will keep you updated on the outcome
This is by far one of the best videos. I followed this step by step and converted my Epson 8550 to DTF. It's simple and you explain thing perfectly. Now I will be trying your products. Thanks so much for making this video and helping me start my DTF journey.
You are an amazing human for sharing your knowledge. You will be rewarded 10 fold. And I don’t make clothes. I just felt it this was so genuine! ❤ Blessings to you.
Maaaaaan. Let me tell you. I was Hella scared to pull the rollers out. Onec I got the left side out. I was thinking this is going to easy. Yeah right. Once I took that first pull, my heart started racing. I was like, hear we go. This brother is living. I'm A need someone to do this. Lol. But after a few tries, I got it. Thanks fam.
#replay. I just watched this video and I must say that this is the first time I’ve seen a video that makes converting a printer for DTF so simple and easy to follow along. I’ve done HTV and sublimation but everybody knows DTF is the way to go. I’m retired and live on a fixed income and the cost of a DTF printer is not in my budget, so l’ve started purchasing transfers but would like to do them myself. With this video and your E book help I think I can do this. Thank you 😊
Saw your Tictock about the CISS system you are taking preorders for. How will the conversion be different? Should I wait on converting my printer? How do I preorder?
Okay so I'm converting my printer right now watching your video by the way thank you best video I watched on TH-cam. I just completed taking my rollers out yes I was very nervous😂
Boss Thank you so much. I was just about to buy a DTF printer. Was scared to do this. I can do this. You are the best omg , may god continue to bless you and your business. Thanks Stay Blessed
You are so informative. I almost didn’t buy this printer because we’ve had an industrial printer for a while for our business, but are no longer comfortable with the side effects of the powder and the oven in our home so we just wanted to small desktop one for off projects, and I almost Gave up on finding one until I found this video! You seem so nice and are so helpful and knowledgeable!
Thank you so much for this video!! My Hubby and started our business in January of this year and have decided to start printing our own transfers. After finding you on Tik Tok we decided it was something we could do!! Although I am nervous I am excited!! Found a brand new in the box Epson ET8550 for $240 today! Now to just convert it and wait for my starter kit I ordered from you!
No lie, I watched a 30 minute video and the whole time buddy was showing how to take the rollers out og an Epson 8550. I couldn't take too much more so I kept fast forwarding the video and literally at about 28mins he finally got the rollers out.... After watching the first part of your video I paused and it literally took me less than 5mins to remove the rollers from my 8550. I really appreciate your video it was very clear and simple and most of all it did not take you 30mins to remove the rollers, lol. - THANK YOU!
I must say you are very detailed and helpful and you’re not trying to get paid off everything little thing. This is how you become prosperous in your endeavors. I’m going to be just like you when I get my business going. I appreciate all this and I’m going to support your business with buying your ink, products and consultations. Continue to be Blessed and Highly Favored. That was my name on FB for years lol 👍🏽
@kristenpineda1836 What paper type did you select on the actual printer when you loaded your sheet? The print will ask the size and then the type of paper. He does not show this critical step in the video. I followed these instructions to the t but am getting smudges. Really bummed and regret purchasing this setup.
@@kristenpineda1836 Gotcha. I did follow that video to the tee, several time in fact…my printer still ask when loading the paper to tray, despite the settings applied to Cadlink. But thank you for replying. Wish mine worked right away like yours. You’re so lucky.
A Wonderful Video really super well detailed! A Huge Thank You to you, I am French and do not speak a word of English and I converted my Epson with automatic translation and Wow thank you ❤
I came across this video and was very intrigued! All I can say is Wow!!! your step by step instructions with such detail was amazing! I have (2) 8550’s for sub & inkjet, omg if I buy another one my kids are going to freak 😂 (if you read in the news that a 68 yr old Little Italian Nonna from Long Island NY was beaten by her kids you know it was ME! 😂) but I’ve always wanted to do DTF so I guess my Best Buy credit card is coming out of my wallet 😂😂 ummm Thank You I think 😂😂 but definitely Thank you for your fantastic video! 😊
My brother thank you so much for this video I've been ordering desperately trying to figure out how I was going to be able to make my own then I ran across this video it's the best video I ran into and you explained it perfectly I just want to thank you and I will be ordering your products
Excellent video!!!! Easy to follow and includes everything you need to set up!! I’m so happy I went with the option of converting the printer thank you!
I really appreciated your video-thanks for the great content! I have a couple of questions regarding the Epson 8550 printer. 1. I currently have the original ink installed. What steps should I take to remove this ink and replace it with the custom color you demonstrated? For those who already own the printer, is there a specific procedure to flush the existing ink or should we simply print until it runs out? 2. Regarding the printer settings you adjusted on Windows, do similar adjustments need to be made for macOS? If so, could you provide guidance on how to do that? Thank you for your assistance!
OMG!!! This is awesome. I just set up my printer and software. The instructions were truly wonderful.. so I printed my first DTF image. too tickled. Even pulling out the roller wasn't too bad, I was more concerned with losing a screw. LOL Thanks so much!!
I currently have this printer for sublimation and plan to add the exact printer for DTF separately. I will have 2 of the same printers for different uses on my drive. Is there something I need to know that I can identify the different printers for DTF vs Sub when the printer selection comes up and to add the new printer?
This tutorial video was A1 - I was skeptical about buying the Epson 8550 but after watching your detailed video I pulled the plug. Thank you for being so thorough with your video. I have liked and subscribed to your page. God Bless you
Love the step by step instructions! Pulling out the roller was a daunting process and my heart skipped a little when doing it but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
Gday mate thanks for making this video. My wife bought thia printwr and wasnt sure about the conversion but after watching your video i was able to follow the steps very easily and do it for her even with zero prior knowledge. When she got everything sorted after watchong the video she printed her forst design and it was perfect straight away. She also downloaded your ebook which was also very helpful. Thanks again mate
Hey, new to your channel. Really been thinking about getting a DTF printer. Now that I've seen u convert this printer I'm seriously thinking about getting this one. But my question is I've watched u convert this printer but now u have CISs. Will u b doing a video on that as well. Thks again for all your videos n teaching us what u know.
Want to start by saying your really inspiring, i just recieved my highly flavored starter bundle and i have a question is it the same conversion steps for the epson et 8500 or is it not possible for this printer. Goofed and got the 8500 and not the 8550
Hi, thank you for sharing. I just got my printer. I do have an epson 2800 and it was pretty simple. The 8550 on the other hand is a bit more complicated. I noticed when you took out the roller it looked pretty easy but you didn't put back all silver screws do they all get put back?.
I appreciate you for taking the time to make this video. I converted my printer, and it was so easy to follow along with you. The roller was a little stubborn, though.😊 Thank you for helping DIYers like myself.
Thank you thought I wouldn’t be able to do it but your step by step made it so easy the only thing that scared me was pulling that piece out but it got done thank you
HI I have bought the EPSON 8550 and your bought your CISS do you have a video where it shows how to install the ink too? We have already installed the CISS to the side of the printer.
😊 omg you are an amazing teacher. I have one question when I initially set up my sublimation ink I didn't purchase white..can I flush out and use white in first 2 tanks? Or is it to late😊
Thank you for your greatest video. I followed your intruction but the printer keeps jamming the film inside the printer when I used rear feeder. I testes on the copy paper OK. The other front trays works fine. I also put a tape on the film as your other video but it still jams. Please help. Thank you.
You are more than Highly Flavored, you are highly favored my brother thanks for your guidance... I belive in each one teach one and you gave teacher me well I'm indebted to you God bless you and yours.
I was sooooo nervous 😅 trying to take the rollers out.. I had to replay your video three times before I got the confidence to just tug a little harder. 😅😂
Man I really appreciate this video to the fullest! I had a different E book (not gonna name anyone) I was so lost and it didn’t help me at all until I came across your video from beginning to end! Step by step! I’m def gonna be getting an E-Book from you and def just gained a new Sub from me!
I love your videos man, from how you make it feel simple possible and correct. To helping visual learners, grasp the concept clearly. Please make a video that helps how to clean and swap sublimation ink to dtf. How to flush and replace.
WOW WOW WOW....I FINALLY GOT THAT DARN ROLLER OUT..I WAS SO AFRAID I WAS GOING TO BREAK MY PRINTER I WAS HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME GETTING THE RIGHT SIDE OFF...WOW..BUT THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO
Did a little resort came off when you remove the roller !?🥹 I'm so scare cause it happens to me and I'm not sure if it is an important part for my printer function .😢
Thank you sooo much for this video! Question? you said that the printer has to be shaken everyday, I have days of traveling where I may not be home. How long can I go without shaking and if I do miss a day or two can I still recover and be able to use the printer again or will it be useless?
Thank you so much for sharing this information. I just subscribed. 💜💜 I have this printer still in the box. Someone said it’s no good because you have to shake the white ink inside the cartridge after every 80 prints. You can’t remove the cartridge so how do I make sure my ink is good…?
I have the printer and the CISS system. My question is do i still need to add ink in the printer in this steps or do I wait and just connect the CISS system 1st, add ink and do printer setup instead?
Hi so I tried changing the setting on the digital factory like you did at 52:30 and it’s not letting me push ok to save it. Can you tell me how to fix that
Thank you for this setup video. I love the step by step instructions. How do I make my colors vibrant? My reds are more orange than red. And my gold turns old yellow. I purchased your dtf paper and change my ink and power and my colors aren’t vibrant. Could you help me out?
Thank you so much for helping me get the Epson 8550 converted. I do have one question I went to PRINT and it’s just bleeding in all the colors are correct and everything but the ink is just bleeding. Any suggestions?
so you don't need a maintenance chip reset, to waterproof your print head or a ink waste tank? how long does the printer last by putting Dtf ink straight into it. i see people have a problem with white ink you didn't install a continuous white ink system?
Those are all great questions. So let me start with the first. It's not mandatory to do an extended waste tank but it is helpful in the long run. I have a video on how to do it. You don't need to water period your print head. My orginal has done over 1000 prints literally. And I guess that answers how long it last as well. Everything you mentioned can help improve experience but work property maintenance isn't necessary
Omg Ty so much for this awesome video. I just converted my Epson from start to finish very easy to follow and understand. Ty so much. The most detailed video I’ve seen and I have seen a lot
You made this conversion so simple, from A to Z, thankyou. Much appreciated. Do you have an activation code for the site as my free time has run out ! Regards
Thanx for your videos. I have a question, i have an ET-8550 that im using with sublimation ink. Can i convert this printer to DTF? if yes what do you recommend me to do. I would like to use your ink and software. Thank you and God bless you.
Hey. Yes you can you'll have to remove the sublimation ink out the Epson 8550. There's a good video on TH-cam "How to remove sublimation ink out the Epson 8550"
Guess who has a DTF Printer?
Yep

During the process of removing the rollers I had a moment of nervousness but when that thang popped out I was like 😂😂😂
Hello, if you already converted the 8550 to sublimation ink can you still convert to DTF
Printed my first ten dtf transfers today and they came out perfect! Cannot thank you enough!!
Yessss!! Love that

Allow the paper to roll freely during the print process

Can you use a 13” wide dtf roll for this Epson 8550? If so is there a setting for that in cadlink?
Yes under media setup choose roll
I was sooooo nervous 😅 trying to take the rollers out.. I had to replay your video three times before I got the confidence to just tug a little harder. 😅😂
hey thanks for the video, getting my printer today, question, if i remove the rollers how with the film get pushed out?
Fab. I managed to get the rollers out no problems, thanks to your great instructions.
Thank you. Would you recommend removing the rollers on my 8550 that i converted to sublimation?
No need to remove for sublimation. The only reason to remove for DTF is because the wet ink will hit the rollers and cause streaks on the film.
Is this the same process for et 15000
Hi do u need a new 8850 printer or can u use one
You did an Excellent job at explaining everything!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you
Hello what software are you using on here for the design?
New Sunnis! Thank you for sharing your gift. I am curiously to know how thick does the card board have to be
Not too thick but not flimsy either. Long as the paper has room to come out on top.

Thank you sooo much for this video! Question? you said that the printer has to be shaken everyday, I have days of traveling where I may not be home. How long can I go without shaking and if I do miss a day or two can I still recover and be able to use the printer again or will it be useless?
Yes 1-3 days is ok
Thank you so much for sharing this information. I just subscribed. 💜💜 I have this printer still in the box. Someone said it’s no good because you have to shake the white ink inside the cartridge after every 80 prints. You can’t remove the cartridge so how do I make sure my ink is good…?
Grab my ebook in description to help with maintenance
nice i will be buying one soon wish me luck....but i have one issue how do you clean the print head if it gets cloged
I have the printer and the CISS system. My question is do i still need to add ink in the printer in this steps or do I wait and just connect the CISS system 1st, add ink and do printer setup instead?
so i see 2 videos on these printers which is best the Epson Xp -15000 or the 8550?
Great video, very detailed. will this process work for the photo ET-8550, I don't know if there are any differences between the models. Thanks
So happy I found you! Amazing video - I actually feel like I can do this. Thanks so much!!!!
Hi so I tried changing the setting on the digital factory like you did at 52:30 and it’s not letting me push ok to save it. Can you tell me how to fix that
Were you able to figure it out? Mine won’t let me see the bottom of the page to select ok
I have a new Epson ET 3850 i was going to convert to sublimation but i absolutely love dtf transfers. Can I convert the et 3850 to dtf printer?
Hello, how about the care for the head? Do you also sell the liquid to the daily cleaning?
Your video was so helpful made it real easy thanks so much
Could that ink set up could be used for other software besides cadlink
Very easy with no issues....
Good information thanks, 1 question i have this printer. So can i convert it after already using it with regular ink?
Yes you can. You’ll have to remove the old ink out
i see some people using a board to use for the print to print out on i guess so the film won't get stuck. Do you do the same?
so you don't need a maintenance chip reset, to waterproof your print head or a ink waste tank? how long does the printer last by putting Dtf ink straight into it. i see people have a problem with white ink you didn't install a continuous white ink system?
Those are all great questions. So let me start with the first. It's not mandatory to do an extended waste tank but it is helpful in the long run. I have a video on how to do it. You don't need to water period your print head. My orginal has done over 1000 prints literally. And I guess that answers how long it last as well. Everything you mentioned can help improve experience but work property maintenance isn't necessary
Omg Ty so much for this awesome video. I just converted my Epson from start to finish very easy to follow and understand. Ty so much. The most detailed video I’ve seen and I have seen a lot
thanks so much for the video, my printer is on its way, what size is the cardboard piece for the printer.
Thanks
Awesome video!! I know it's me , obviously but nothing is printing. I followed all the steps. Everything is working fine it's just printing blank
Same here. Have you figured out how to fix this issue? It acts like it's printing but nothing comes out. I just set mine up today
Does the ink only go in ciss or in printer and ciss ?
I just bought this print to convert in sublimation!!! This means I need to buy other one!!
