Oda does say Don Chinjao's headbutt can split the ice continent in half with one headbutt, and he is shown doing it pretty easily in the flashbacks, even though this ice is apparently stronger than any rock. And in the flashback Garp said he had turned 8 mountains into sand to make sure he would be able to defeat Chinjao (it wasn't specified if he destroyed the 8 mountains in one punch or not but it would make sense). And not only did Luffy straight up stopped Chinjao's headbutt, but he hit Chinjao so hard he reshaped his skull and sent him flying down which broke the stone arena below. He seemed to have reshaped Chinjao's skull much more easily than Garp did it during the day as way less panels were dedicated to it, which makes sense since Chinjao became weaker over time. So, even if Chinjao was a considerably weaker than before Luffy's one Elephant Gun was easily more powerful than Chinjao's headbutt even though he was at his max level on the contrary to when he was shown splitting the Ice continent. So Luffy would certainly have the energy required to split the super hard Ice Continent with his Elephant Gun, which would certainly put him at around continent level, which is apparently generally around 1.33 Petatons of tnt (I also saw it was between 760 Teratons and 4.435 Petatons). And since it's logical to assume King Kong Gun was about 10 times more powerful than this Elephant Gun, it would certainly put him at around 13.3 Petatons of tnt. In One Piece characters can learn to focus their Haki to exclusively damage their target as opposed to the environment; we first learn of this when Zoro cuts Mr 1 (he purposely doesn’t cut a tree branch despite brushing his blade against it and manages to cut rubble), and this is further reiterated in Wano.

Agreed. Youre not alone. this is how I basically powerscale. I scale based on mostly destruction feats. Even I consider VSBW to be generous while many of these people consider it to be extremely downplaying.

Now lets talk about how weak is op world, luffy destroyes a whole island with baloon, nothing but baloon from that point the durability of op world must be so low, a attack that have more power than baloon should be able to destroy the op world completly, now about armament haki, luffy bites haki and make a whole in it and a arrow couldn't even budge in thay means the attacks are too weak to be called a attack, lol op world is so damm weak

@@michaeldorsey9231 its soo much to point out everything because its wank from beginnin to the end but two main points, well basically one but with two subcathegories, are: 1) Where are the actual feats, the guy cliams luffy (who isnt even top tier yet) to be near planet level when all feats in OPverse cap at country level, thats way too much difference for free scaling 2) these are few selected feats to scale as much power out of them as possible but where are all the other feats that bear contradiction to this scaling? (if luffy is beyond island level pre-time skip, or was it country level, then hwo did he struggle to destroy island sized ship post-time skip with his strongest pre-G4 attack?)
That’s a fair argument to make; when I first watched this my thought was “if a rookie pirate can destroy islands a quarter way through the Grandline, and there are numerous characters hundreds of times stronger than him, then how can something like Pluton be considered threatening?” Still, this doesn’t quite disprove the feats shown in the video, and even the weaker feats that make Luffy seem inconsistent can have explanations on a case by case basis. 1) Luffy pulls his punches or can’t perform 100% in particular conflicts, either due to exhaustion or mental/emotional issues. 2) The opponent is strong enough that Luffy’s island/continental strength can’t overcome them. 3) The environment/elements Luffy’s battles take place at could be more durable than usual, giving the illusion that his attacks are weaker than they really are. In the case of the Noah, we’re talking about an island sized ship designed to carry the population of Fishman Island, and it’s been sitting around 10,000 meters at the bottom of the ocean. Obviously the wood needed to make this ship would need to be considerably more durable than most other materials, other wise it would collapse under its own weight. With this in mind (plus the fact that Luffy’s damage from Hody led to significant blood loss) it’s not hat to believe that Luffy didn’t instantly destroy the Noah,
@@michaeldorsey9231 1) as if luffy ever had problems with stamina/exhaustion, it often comes close to ridiculousness just how much he can pull out when he should be dead compared to wht he normally does 2) well obviously his oponents are of simmilar strenght but we try to determine what level that exactly is 3) it migh be an explanation in case of noah but usually those feats include regular ground or rock, also to consider noah much more durable than hard wood or steel it would require feats which it doesnt have (and according to this scaling luffy would still need less than 1% of his power to casually one shot it so blood loss is also hardly an excuse, not to mention that strong world doesnt appear to be canon in the first place) the main problem remaining that we have no confirmation that level of power, otherwise we couls "calc" any characters to any levels and just say that they do liitle collateral damage, it doesn't work that way
Oda does say Don Chinjao's headbutt can split the ice continent in half with one headbutt, and he is shown doing it pretty easily in the flashbacks, even though this ice is apparently stronger than any rock.

Well.... I admit that the math doesn't lie, and that you surely did a great job with the research and all.... but I peronally think that those images of Alabasta and mainly of the Grand Line are merely illustrative and shouldn't be taken seriously.
I really doubt that Oda taken in considerstion the correct proportional size when drawing those islands.
Scaling off the maps is faulty, but compared to a far simpler method of finding the world’s size (noting that the planet has a 50 km horizon near sea level based on the characters ability to see the other side of the Sandora River), and Idea Shock’s calc here is actually a lowball.
Not really scaleing of on that feat to is not the best at most one piece planet is the size of Jupiter which is still insane

Playerback 772 Prime White-Beard was stronger than prime Garp, who could casually One-shot Don Chinjao. Don Chinjao was capable of easily splitting a continent, and this is continent by One Piece standards. Even Alabasta is over 5075km in diameter (which is bigger than Australia and Europe), so a country by One Piece standards is bigger than a continent by our standards.
The only version of White-Beard we got to see in combat was an elderly one with critical heart problems. And even then he was stated by Akainu to of been holding back throughout the majority of Marine-Ford as to not kill his own crew.

If there characters are expelling massive amounts of force, equivalent to many tons of tnt, how is the environment around them not completely destroyed when there fists make contact. In One Piece characters can learn to focus their Haki to exclusively damage their target as opposed to the environment; we first learn of this when Zoro cuts Mr 1 (he purposely doesn’t cut a tree branch despite brushing his blade against it and manages to cut rubble), and this is further reiterated in Wano.

stampede isnt canon
pleas stop luffy is my favriot anime character and he can't destroy a planet pleas stop if he could he would of when he used these attacks ever thought of that. its very simple the only way a anime character can destroy a planet is if the manga says so the creator said or if you see it in the show. if non of these things then you have to just scale the damage you see not the math.
Agreed. Youre not alone. this is how I basically powerscale. I scale based on mostly destruction feats. Even I consider VSBW to be generous while many of these people consider it to be extremely downplaying.

Potentially, but if I recall what I calculated in this correctly, many other characters would be if I applied the same logic to them. Because of that I would simply consider that an extreme high estimate.
Which is why shock had a good reason why luffy beats Naruto albeit barely but dose t near Meliodas we don’t touch that guy he is powerful holy crap

How is this video laughable? I think your arguments would be stronger if you specified this video’s weak points.
@@michaeldorsey9231 its soo much to point out everything because its wank from beginnin to the end but two main points, well basically one but with two subcathegories, are:
1) Where are the actual feats, the guy cliams luffy (who isnt even top tier yet) to be near planet level when all feats in OPverse cap at country level, thats way too much difference for free scaling
2) these are few selected feats to scale as much power out of them as possible but where are all the other feats that bear contradiction to this scaling? (if luffy is beyond island level pre-time skip, or was it country level, then hwo did he struggle to destroy island sized ship post-time skip with his strongest pre-G4 attack?)
That’s a fair argument to make; when I first watched this my thought was “if a rookie pirate can destroy islands a quarter way through the Grandline, and there are numerous characters hundreds of times stronger than him, then how can something like Pluton be considered threatening?”
Still, this doesn’t quite disprove the feats shown in the video, and even the weaker feats that make Luffy seem inconsistent can have explanations on a case by case basis.
With this in mind (plus the fact that Luffy’s damage from Hody led to significant blood loss) it’s not hat to believe that Luffy didn’t instantly destroy the Noah,
@@michaeldorsey9231 1) as if luffy ever had problems with stamina/exhaustion, it often comes close to ridiculousness just how much he can pull out when he should be dead compared to wht he normally does
2) well obviously his oponents are of simmilar strenght but we try to determine what level that exactly is
3) it migh be an explanation in case of noah but usually those feats include regular ground or rock, also to consider noah much more durable than hard wood or steel it would require feats which it doesnt have (and according to this scaling luffy would still need less than 1% of his power to casually one shot it so blood loss is also hardly an excuse, not to mention that strong world doesnt appear to be canon in the first place)
the main problem remaining that we have no confirmation that level of power, otherwise we couls "calc" any characters to any levels and just say that they do liitle collateral damage, it doesn't work that way
Prezes Entertainment Luffy has had stated continental feats in the past other than just calcs y’know.
