A fabulous insight into a seminal frontman and his musical journey.
And Mr Key is spot on .. the ‘Some Bizzare’ album was and remains so important.

I really enjoyed this. I’m a fan of both of you from the beginning. 😎 Cleveland was indeed a legendary show. I am grateful to have been there and seen both of you perform many times over the last 30 years.

I was always a huge fan since they came out, I saw them at Roseland in NYC in the 90's and was totally blown away! They were flawless and aggressive AF! Still one of my favorite bands! Douglas is my fave indistrial vocalist by far!

That was the Ebbhead tour BTW - a total masterpiece of an album.

The last of the electronic artists that produced CD's and cassette's . All the new guys are basically DJ's and their music is now streamed. I miss the cd's it was nice to have the sleeve on it and then sell the cd's at shows...now all the music is online

Wait? I could have been dancing to Nitzer Ebb at RPM with cEvin beside me? Join In the Chant and NE changed the way I listened to music for the rest of my life.

Yeah I was one of those goth industrial skaters back in the 80s. So many shred sessions listening to Killing Joke, Neubauten, SP and NE.
I thought we were unique! 😂
And who HASNT Flood worked with?
Ps Jeez I been mispronouncing Nitzer Ebb this whole time!

if depeche were too pop for a young ebb to want to support i'd love to know what they thought of erasure, which is who i saw them support, twice, nov 23 and 24 1988, as part of the latter's crackers international xmas mini-tour (3 dates, first one filmed the week before so no support) at birmingham's nec. as well as the control/proto-belief graphics on the merch, and douglas spitting into a bucket while slamming his long wet fringe all about the place, i remember being totally blown away - i was 14 and saw them loads after that. amazing
