my 56 still has the one it came with .i know i was 4 years old when i got it,,,,lol ok when dad got it ,,he gave it to me ,,first car at 16...70 now i still have her,, never had any problems ,,radio still works,,,the clock needs a good cleaning again..easy fix
Nice fabricating as always on your switch. I did replace my stock original switch in 2015 bought the car in 1969. Still was good original switch & no problems with the repro so far. I hardly drive the car maybe 10 miles a year if that,LOLL! I will keep the original for sure .............. Thanks for the headsup!
Why not put a push button switch instead of the key , the hole point of that switch is that it has a lock, so it can’t be turned,that was the point of it being in the car in the first place, , if I had that car I would have a good security system in it so it couldn’t be stolen….

? Why did you NOT use a 60's (Chevy) ing switch? It fits the dash and uses the right lock cyl, plus has acc.

Push button is way too cheezy when I'm going for a stock looking dash.
