Wow. First, what an amazing build. The FRS did amazing knowing that it had ran with it previously being raced, the engine held up very well. I'm glad to be able to see how it started off and where it is at now, resting after the Ontario 1500, like always y'all always bring perfection and triumph to the racing/car community. Thank you Peter and Dave for y'alls hardwork. Much love and support, as always, from Texas!
+Speed Academy loved it watched the series, you guys did awesome... maybe a dumb question but is that a toyota 86? im in new zealand... you should check out targa rally of new zealand :-)
+Matt Graham Yes, here its a Scion but everywhere else its a Toyota 86. We've known about Targa NZ for years now and hope one day to be able to compete in it!
I know this is an old video, but I wanted to leave a comment nonetheless. I'm kind of new to the channel. I've only been subscribed for a couple of months. I finished watching almost all the builds, and I've just started to watch the FR-S today. Great build guys, and I love watching you rip. I follow loads of channels on YT, but you guys are the ones that I'm more close to. You think, prep, and mod everything with the track on your mind. That's my kind of thinking! Cheers, and please, do keep it up!
Thanks for the kind words! It's a lot more work and time to build cars that work on track but we think that's what makes us different from all the other channels!
Just saw this car at the Calgary Auto-Show! Car of the show...seriously, you can order your Aventador or 488 GTB Speciale but there's only one @speedacademy FRS!!! Cheers!
+Speed Academy Thanks for goiNg the build before I do! Ha, ha! I watched the Ontario 1500 series and was impressed by the reliability of the Jackson Racing Supercharger. Any thoughts on running it in a daily driver? My Scion warranty is up this spring and I like how user friendly that system is.
+Streetsandpeaks It's perfect for daily use. If it can survive the punishment of 7 days of straight racing then street use is a light walk in the park for the kit :)
Some on-camera speedometer footage would be cool since cameras are deceptive when it comes to speed.. it looks either much faster or much slower than it actually is..
+calvinblinkee yeah if i look very closely (screen is not too big..) but especially on the exterior / hood / bumper cam shots it would be nice Like a little speedo camera in one corner of the screen or so :D
I've watched this probably 15 times. You guys are living the dream!

Please bring more FRS content! Maybe an auto cross series. I’m planning to start auto crossing my turbo FRS this spring!
Prepare to replace your turbo frequently... lol. I’ll be hitting targa NL this summer in my N/A 86
Like from users BMI russian, and we one request do releases longer, we think ideal time for release 20-30 min
"Taking it easy in the rain"... Speedometer=100mph. Haha very impressive guys. Car sounds so great too
Vincent Torrefranca Haha, that was taking it easy! And for a race car it sounds great, a wee bit too loud on the street though!
Sounds like a rotary engine :p
+DatCarKidGaming Kind of, but Rotaries tend to have a bit more buzz.
