My Favorite Boat at the 2024 Stuart Boat Show - the Ocean Sport Roamer 30!

- Rarely is a boat more out of place at a Florida Boat Show than the one I LOVED the most at the 2024 Stuart Boat Show. That boat would be the Washington State-built Ocean Sport 30 Roamer, a big, wide Pilothouse boat, powered by twin Mercury 300 Verados that just screams Alaska.

I’ll stand by this… a pilot house with a 2nd station is the best all around boat you can buy. Dry, great fishability, great for the family, easy to maintain, etc..this one blows my 21’ Parker out of the water though!
All Ocean Sports come with a shower. The shower nozzle is in the compartment under the sink in the head. Also the forward dinette seat can fold down for sleeping or be flipped to forward facing when underway.
As a purchaser for the manufacturer of Ocean Sport boats, I can confirm the presence of a shower in the head.
Also of note, on our outboard powered builds, we have a Hydronic heat option, which gives you hot potable water, cabin heat, and a heated defroster fueled from a 15 gallon diesel tank. No matter the weather, just turn on the heater, and you have full heat in minutes. On diesel powered boats that heat comes from the main engines.

I love the PNW boats like this one along with others like Ranger Tugs and Cutwater which are three season boats and would be great for the Great Lakes instead of the silly open bow “South Florida” boats a lot of manufacturers are currently pushing.

at 8.15 in the video, you can see the door for the shower just under the sink. its white and about 6inch square. So yes it does have a shower. that is a common way to do it on the west coast.

Hello, there is a shower. It is located in the face of the cabinet under the head sink. The shower drain is located under the Sapele wood slat floor. It is considered a wet head.
John, the Ocean Sport boats are manufactured by Nordic Tugs, therefore the high price and finish. My fishing and cruising boat based in RI the last 18 years, a Nordic Tug 34. We fish the same areas (Gardners Bay, Montauk, BI, CT and RI coast). A subscriber...
The young lady is wrong. All the Ocean roamers do have a shower. It a pull out under the sink. Its stock that way. if this does not have one it was removed but I doubt it. they are made just up the road from me.
Nice pilot house boat. I think it a great muti purpose vessel....nice picnic/ island hopping.... guess not hard a freshwater shower/rinse...& you can camp out overnight

My dream boat would be the Targa 32 or 35. A brand from Finland. Pricey or expensive as hell, but the places that boat can cruise too and the weather it can hammer thru...never hurts to dream.

It does have a convection microwave oven. 80 gallons of freshwater, shower, and drain. Commercial grade refrigeration.
Very nice, great amenities but when loaded up, it is way underpowered. Needs twin 450's. The Northeast comment for that boat is 100%. Great vid thanks again.

More than likely it can be built with a shower option in the head or at very least a fresh water wash down out back.That can work good enough for a day or 2.Thats a beautiful boat to be running around with in December in this region and with all things being equal-and prices on new boat being ridiculous across the board-it’s a great boat.
It comes with a shower and hot water heater standard. It has air-conditioning and heat. It is highly capable of long term living aboard.

Really surprised me because other than that, two people could easily use this as a weekend condo for a few days or longer
absolutely, it would make a great long range boat for multi day trips to tugas,pulley ridge etc but brooo 500k y no shower! LOL @@jiggingjerks
It has a shower located under the sink, 80 gallons of freshwater onboard, hot water heater, 2 burner propane stove top, convection microwave oven, commercial refrigeration, and fishing amenities to satisfy everyone.

I think a boat that size should have inboard not outboard engines. I like the quality of Hatteras or Bertram boats better. Anyway, hope that all is well with you! 👍👍

She is an interesting boat but $480k, maybe new in the year 2080. Countertops looks like they came from a boat made in 2005, tiny bathroom, no shower and huge deck with not much else. Who in the heck priced out this boat?

Visited my brother in OR, no screens needed if by the shore. Almost no bugs, very weird, but also there are a lot less birds like we see on the east coast.
A/C is an option and on the boat in the video it was located in the forward v-berth in the port side cabinet under the bed just forward of the hanging locker.
Sorry. Terribly disagree with you. Like you said , no shower. For 600k, it better have everything and have gold plated inlays. Look at Targa. Or most other brands.

That’s a sweet boat, but for a half million dollars I see absolutely no value in that boat. Stupid expensive for what you get. Just insane
