This HOSIM RC monster truck toy is pretty fun and fast!
- Very fast truck as rated, on flat straight road can easily hit the rated 35 mph
- 4 independent suspensions goes on and off road fast
- 2 RWD, can flip easily so take it easy on turn
- On full charge (which takes 1-2 hours), you will get 7-8 minutes of flat out fast speed, or slower speed will last about 10 minutes.
- Use a lithium 9.6V battery, replace is about $15 bucks.
- Remote only have about 100 feet range, I wish they have extendable antenna to give great reach
- Annoying to have to power and pair the unit prior to closing everything up

I ordered that truck today
My uncle had two of these but both were fully broken half the pieces were lost. So I took it apart and combine both to make one works like a charm just need better wheels so it's easyer to control. BTW there like 1 to 2 years old as well.
Have one. Was good now it keeps stripping gears even after everything is put back together.

nice review. I have a question. are the steering and throttle analog?
+lilrick98 throttle is a pistol grip. It does have different level so I don't know if it's analog or digital. The steering is wheel and yes this is analog.
How do you adjust the steering? I can't find the adjustment lever... Can you post a video?

take s about 2-3 hours. then you're set to go. Don't charge right after run as it's too hot

It doesn't. I just mount a tiny fob cam on it to test.
nice review can it do mild crawling or off-roading ?
+Prasad Hegde this one get stuck and the throttle is too sensitive for any crawling. But it can handle some off roading. I have a new one (check my toy review list) that is 4 wheel drive and that's slightly better. Got another one coming soon. I keep seeing crawling vid and I want to try one!
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?? When I turn it on, the wheels move slightly to the right so it’s not aligned.
on the other side their is a trim adjustment just turn it and twist it until you feel it is right

Nope, you might get lucky buying another unit controller but I dont know a way of binding as these are toy grade

+FREDDY MEJIA I haven't tried, too many toy to mess with but basically you can rig anything you want with that plug. As long as you don't go crazy with voltage and blow the motor :D

Toy grade I’m not sure if there is way to rest nc the controller. Check manual and battery make sure they are good - otherwise have to do a return buddy

Haevn't tried but now that you say it I will try next time I get snow here. Should be in 1 month or so we get 1 or 2 snow a year in NC.
My guess is the tire are fat enough and it isn't heavy so it should be able to just fly on top unless the snow is too fine and soft it might get dug in. Go for AWH version.

I have a Litehawk Crusher MT that is almost identical to this truck. I can drive it on compacted snow (like a parking lot) with no issues. It's more fun even with the ability to drift more.

so it only last 10- 15 mins of riding till dead???
On full throttle 10 minutes. Ride slower maybe 15-20 minutes from what i have heard. I would recommend buying a second charger and batter, plug both in at the same time. Unplug at same time, use one until dead, use other one until dead, repeat. I heard its fun and im looking into getting something like this. One day when you get around 200 bucks or so or 250 go get a Traxxas Rustler and try to get brushless. I have drove one before. Very fun and last around 20 mins-25 mins or even longer for all i know!

I understand that Traxxas is better. But traxxas is also a lot more to handle and also very expensive. Im on a budget and i wanted a traxxas rustler because i have used one once and i liked it but im too poor right now so im probably getting something kinda like this. Its not exactly this but its by Hoism.

The advertising indicates that the top speed is 33 MPH. The actual top speed is 33 KPH

The speed meter that I used was tested against my Ford Crown Vic after chanking it's speedometer to KPH instead of MPH. Use a speed meter and check it out for yourself.
I think your top speed will be 21 MPH, give or take 1 MPH.

Does the car go 33 mph or 33km/h
Reading through the amazon reviews, it sounds like it actually goes close to 30mph. I am suprised with a brushed 550 motor and 2s LiPo battery, but I have seen cars with those get very close to 30mph. It is just usually higher end cars. I'll know in a few days, just ordered one for my boy.
