I was looking for a good recipe of puto pao. I stumbled on your recipe, I’ll make puto pao using your recipe tomorrow, April 15,2020 while we are still in lockdown.
3/4 cup water plus 1/2 cup fresh milk to 2cups of flour 2tbsp baking powder half cup of sugar. did all this but why is my batter looking so dry its looking like a bread dough. HELP!?
@@FoodiePinoy yes i did used the liquid measuring cup for the water & milk. mixture is nowhere close to a batter but more like a dough. too frustrating, will have to look and try a more precise recipe.
Hmm.. this recipe works ok for me. There are times that the flour absorbs too much liquid. If thats the case you can adjust the milk and water accordingly until you reach the right consistency.

Sorry po to hear that. While measuring the liquid, did you use the proper measuring cup?

It could be possible that you were not able to put all the liquids.
Or you had more than two cups of flour.
