I have traced my ancestors here in America back to the late 1690’s early 1700’s. I have found two ancestors on shipping manifest on slaving ships, I have found several on Louisiana plantations inventory, I have found many of my ancestors on the 1870 US Census.
It’s gonna be so amazing finding out and digging through our own lineages to make sure they all get retribution. I feel excited to even get started, I’m busy learning where I came from.

Reparations should be for foundational black Americans(FBA), ir Descendants of American slaves(DOAS), IF you immigrated here after 1900, you should not qualify.
I think if you became a U.S. citizen (and maintained citizenship) before the 1960s civil rights bills were passed you should be entitled to SOME reparations (perhaps not the full amount) since technically such a person would have been subjected to the “Jim Crow” laws during that period.

So many factors are involved intensively from being uprooted from our ancestors land of Birth going about their daily lives and suddenly being captured by whomsoever, whether it's your own, a tribal faction or a foreigner or an alliance in their GREED FOR WEALTH.

Reparations should be for foundational black Americans(FBA), ir Descendants of American slaves(DOAS), IF you immigrated here after 1900, you should not qualify.
If approved, this will most certainly be the rule since the lawmakers will want to put as many parameters on the qualifications as possible.
