As a new sub. I’m so impressed by the running speeds of the various trains. It looks and feels like true railway operations and not a race track. Also love the style of your presentation - Your enthusiasm for our wonderful hobby shines through. Thank You! Happy Modelling. T 🚂
Thanks Tony. My pet hate is poor operation so I'm delighted to hear that I am getting it right. All I have to do now is to add some nice looking scenery!!!!
I dont know how I missed this one Barry but it has been rectified as I type. Brilliant update as usual, love the long pans of the layout, awesome. So lovely watching long rakes run on your layout, gives me something to aim for. Regards Chris
Hi LCS. The shed is 28ft x 12ft 6in or thereabouts. There is a video from about 18 months ago talking through the shed and the plan. Have a look for lots of info and details.
Hi there, im going through all your recordings but cant see where you reference that station building for Yarslow, is it scratch built? Must say the layout is brilliant. Doing my first as a shelf layout and i have huge respect for the sheer size of your build.
Thanks! The station building at Yarslow is a Hornby resin building that should be on the Settle & Carlisle but I repainted in in NER red. I know its wrong but I like it so much, I couildn't resist it!
Ah thanks. That's interesting, so you got the settle resin one and repainted it to a standard red brick building🧱. I might see if I can find one, it looks great. Ideally want to stay cheap, the stations cost a lot of money! I picked up a dapol booking hall for the small station but it looks tiny, almost N gauge, so I suspect it was in the wrong package 😂the ballast used looks good aswell, is that fine grey from wws?

Cracking update. platforms have come up a treat. many thanks for sharing. Tony
Thanks Tony. Still some work to do on them but I'm pleased so far.
Beautiful station work, love the channel lines detail from the signal box
Thank you very much!
I love the broad curve through the station platform. Beautiful modeling and not an easy thing to pull off. Cheers ~ Boomer.👍
Thank you! Cheers!
@@yarslowmodelrailway1 Your welcome!😁
I am intrigued apropos the new LocoNet block detectors - now that GETS is here, do tell more.
Hi James. I fear thou doest confuse me with another. Yarslow is DC and does not use LocoNet. Regards.
@@yarslowmodelrailway1 My apologies - I must have posted this on the wrong video.

At around 10:30 you show the lever frame, whose make are the switches please
Hi These are the Peco levers from their Electric range. Not cheap but easy to get hold of (in UK) and very tactile. I love them!!
