Velosolex 1700 ( 1960 ) Restoration, A bit of Powder Coating

Hello again and thank you for watching our latest video. There is a lot of powder coating to do, so in this video I will powder coat a few trial pieces. I will muddle on and get the rest done off camera.

Hi Adam, thanks for watching. Yes I think a bit of suttle gold will look nice against the black. I think a gold cylinder will be a bit OTT.

Hi Jeff, coming along well the Velosolex, the black powder coating is going on well it will look when its done, looks like you will get this bike up and running in no time. You will be on the Jaguar soon a replacement vacuum pipe, my brother had the same problem with his Vauxhall Insignia CDTI he had it fixed last week and it goes well again. As always a great video take care mate

Hi Shaun, thanks very much. I am glad I can powder coat most of the parts. Next week's video didn't exactly go to plan. I thought that I had sorted the engine side of things on the Jaguar as one of the sensors was covered in black muck. I then did the DPF, but unfortunately the fault in the engine came back, so will and try sorting that out next week.

Hi Phil and thank you very much. I am pleased that nearly all of it fits in the oven. I'm not sure about power coating a car. The panels could be powder coated, but you would need a big oven for the chassis.
In next week's video the Jaguar engine problems didn't exactly go that well, but ended up cleaning the DPF. My back and neck is still recovering from it.
