The way they travel in the earlier movies through the Bifrost is so sick. The vfx, sfx, editing, and short empty cuts for suspense made it all possible. Feels like you're travelling through the Bifrost as well. Also, the short trail of lights given to the objects exiting it is a very nice touch!

I don't think they're gonna use it in the movie since in the trailer they use like a floating boat to go to Olympus and we also saw a brief shot of Thor on it going to another planet on the teaser which makes me think it's going to be their new way of transporting to other places in the universe

You missed one, in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season two episode, "Who you really are," Sif takes Vin-Tak to Asgard through the Bifrost to be taken back to Hala.

My theory is Because she wasn't queen, she deemed herself an heir but she really wasn't, i think that only a rightful or substitute heir of Asgard can use the Odin Force or the power of the Spear to access the Bifrost. Thor was actually rightful heir of asgard not Loki nor Hela. Loki was able to use the spear because people believed him, people such as most Asgardians, the warriors 3, Sif, Frigga and once even Thor believed in him. My theory is that you can use the weapon as an heir with the belief and trust of the people you have.
