It's definitely fluid. I would say that after witnessing the death of his mother, he was reluctant to summon Mjolnir. He had little strength to brace the catch ☹️
I also like the detail that when Thor catches Mjolnir, his arm swings,. You could almost feel the weight due to the hammer's momentum when he catches it.

Oh man, it was perfect but you missed his first move in Age of Ultron, where he jumps to the top of a tower, flips and throws it to a Hydra goon. For the rest, this is the best compilation I have seen, as well as the shield throw compilation.

I don't get why people hate Thor: The Dark World. It is literally one of the best Thor movies ever made. Summoning Mjölnir, giving a pre-story of the Reality Stone, showing different spots in Asgard, more moments between Odin, Thor and Loki, the plot itself and much, much more. What's so wrong with that movie?
Well, for me, the issues are threefold. One, the comedy is forced, like Selvig going crazy at the start of the movie. Two, the main antagonist is a cypher, without real character beyond bringing back universal darkness. Three, Thor's character doesn't progress, he stays essentially the same throughout the whole movie.

Thing is, that version of the character wasn't connecting with the audience. I think it's because the didn't understand how to write him. But this version uses Hemsworth's talent for comedy, and has generally been better received. I hate it too, but it was a smart marketing move.

Agree completely. Really disappointed they even took away his 'Shakespearean' way of talking which I loved about Thor and Loki.
