Fun fact. During the interview junket, all four actors were sitting there when the 'Green Lantern' movie was brought up. Tika & Ryan keep pretending Free Guy was the first movie they ever worked together on. Then a minute later they both disappeared to keep from asking questions about that movie.😁
True Hidden Trivia; Guy is wearing different glasses in EVERY SCENE. He has to jack a different pair of glasses EVERY DAY because he never gets his own.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: Joe Keery is super underrated in this movie. Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds, of course we tune in to watch him, and Jodie Comer is the real hero, but Joe needs his props for this one.
Its because of Roxy's sexy ass raspy voice. My lady you have the most sensual voice.

Fun fact about the Chris Evans cameo:
Ryan reynolds texted Chris asking if he wanted to do a cameo, and miraculously he just happened to be in the neighborhood, so he showed up, they bought him a coffee (the one hes drinking in the cameo) and the whole thing was done in 10 minutes.
Ah I knew Chris Evans was hanging around on set at the time and the cameo came from there, but didn't know Hugh texted him first.
Someone said Chris had forgot he shot that scene and didn't remember until the movie came out.

The first time I watched this, I'm pretty sure my neighbours heard my reaction to the Marvel / Star Wars scene. Despite what certain curmudgeons in these comments might say, that was some beautiful Pop-Culture Fan Service (and my two favourite movie themes)

Hugh Jackman played the very first person you see Millie shoot after she gets the 'footage', before she meets Guy for the first time. He was wearing a hoodie and a full face mask, multi-coloured pattern on it.

This movie is so good. The cameos with Dwayne Johnson, Hugh Jackman are great. Its like Wreck it Ralph with the creation becoming self aware and wanting to break the constant repetition to do something new with his life. I will say the climax is the moment where everything comes together so well.
And the cameos from Tina Fey, Channing Tatum, Chris Evans and John Krasinski

in Australia the school uniform is in pretty much every school. growing up as a poor kid, it was really good, never had to worry about if the cloths I was wearing to school were 'cool' because everyone was wearing them. I only had like 1 set of 'brand name' clothing, everything else was hand-me-downs or generic. I don't know what I would have done if I had to pick something to wear every day.

Idk about all of Texas but in my local public school district many of the schools require uniforms. Idk if statistically there's a difference in treatment of the kids, but it was easier for many of us to wear the same clothes. Less stress.

In my country we have a national school uniform. Every kid wears the same, no matter the school. It was great not having to stress about clothes.

I'm 41 and I'm from PA. When I was a kid, public schools with uniforms were a rarity. Nowadays I believe most of the public schools around here have at least a type of strict dress code if not uniforms. I know for a fact my old school does, but honestly I would never know this if I hadn't had a sister-in-law who was a decade younger than me. So if you've been out of school for a while, I don't think it's surprising that you're unaware of it, Roxy.

I can't believe nobody has said something about this. Slight correction: Blue Shirt Guy is NOT based off of Millie. Blue Shirt Guy is ACTUALLY based off of Keys; Keys always felt like he "wasn't ever gonna meet the right person", etc. Keys based who Blue Shirt Guy would fall in love with off of Millie, because HE IS Blue Shirt Guy. This is further confirmed at the end of the movie where Keys is going to get Millie coffee and she goes after him. He's wearing a Blue Shirt. Keys IS Blue Shirt Guy.

I always found it cool that they got several content creators for this movie Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Lazerbeam, Seán “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, DanTDM, and Pokimane.
I'm so happy that you guys watched Free Guy. It's one of the most unexpectedly fun yet heartfelt movies.
I went to Detroit public schools up until middle school and we wore uniforms. We even had "free dress days". There's a history as to why public schools in Detroit require uniforms, but I can't entirely remember.
Fun fact: They got special permission by Marvel and Lucas Film to use their I.P. Chris Evans was available for only about 15 minutes to film his cameo but they made it work.
This was one of the last Fox movies. It came out after Disney bought Fox. Pretty easy to get permission from Disney when you are a Disney movie.
Can you imagine an NPC actually becoming like Guy? That would be a game worth playing.
That's actually fun indeed.... As long as the rogue NPC wouldn't stop the player from doing missions or do anything that could be gamebreaking 😅
This movie just blends eveything from Ready Player One, They Live, Groundhog Day, Total Recall, Wreck it-Ralph with little bit of Star Wars, Avengers with Chris Evans cameo just comes together perfectly.

the witcher3, the NPCs in that game- have looped lives like guy- if you follow them in a "day", they will wake up, go to work, go home, eat dinner, goto bed. and there's criminal npcs, royal npcs, pesant npcs...TONS. and they all talk and say different lines and interact...AND ITS OVER A DECADE OLD GAME...i LOVE it.
In the UK the majority of public schools and private schools have uniforms. They usually have non-uniform days, where you can wear your own clothes. The reason for the uniforms is multifaceted. 1. It looks orderly. 2. Easier to identify which school students are from in case of truancy or bad behavior before or after school. 3. Uniformity, helps to make everyone appear equal. It's not nice if a few can afford to wear the most expensive and fashionable clothing, while others may be bullied for not having the latest shoes or wearing no-brand items.
I am in the UK, all our public schools have uniforms here. It helps to stop judgement over who can afford brand clothes and who can't (doesn't stop bullying for other things) .
No, sadly not. Kids have come up with other things to bully others for. Nowadays it’s gotten more personal. It’s so sad and infuriating to hear of all the kids 💀 because they were bullied relentlessly.
Loved this movie so much! I saw this before my wedding for my bachelor party. Glad Roxie and Andrew were able to react to it and give me some great content to watch while working. @ReelRejects have the best crew reacting to everything and the watch alongs make my day!

For the Sean Levy / Ryan Reynolds connection look no further than Brad Pitt. Levy and Pitt are best friends, which explains how Deadpool 2 had a Brad Pitt cameo (Levy Directed it) and how Bullet Train had a Reynolds cameo (again, directed by Levy). This connection also explains why ppl like Channing Tatum and Hugh Jackman also show up in these 3 movies (along with Zazzy Beats in DP2 and Bullet Train).
It's incredible that these superstars are basically doing cameos in each others' movies for free!

Finally, a reaction to my ultimate favorite movie of all time. I actually purchased this through Fandango (formerly VUDU). To answer your question about school uniforms: My 3 kids (who are now young adults) were required to wear school uniforms during their elementary and middle school years. In high school, they were allowed to wear their street clothes. It was such a pain in the ass every summer to take them school shopping at Walmart. Thank God for my Dad helping me out ❤ Happy Birthday to the both of you🎂 My birthday is also coming up soon on August 20th. I’ll be celebrating my 45th😊🎉❤

I was so amazed by this movie when it came out. I got to watch it in theaters a couple times. That Captain America scene gave me so much chills! I even cheered in the theater. It was truly a very special surprise. And it was made possible because of the Disney Fox merger at the time this movie was being made.
What was more awesome is that when my son seen it with me and he was able to point out the TH-camrs that are gamers and he's always showing me his games especially fortnite so I thought it was so appropriate for me and him to see this movie together he was 14 or 15 at the time when this movie came out. Had I not had a teenage son that played fortnite I would totally not even understand any of the gaming Concept in this movie. So thanks to my son I'm that much more knowledgeable in the pop culture game world

This is so much fun and so rewatchable. This is an instant classic.
We all have school uniforms here in the UK until we're at least 16. We also weren't allowed specific branded clothes for PE/gym class, mainly to stop any sort of social divide and discourage bullying based on style/brands/funds. I never had a problem with wearing a uniform it was one less thing to think about every day. Every now and again we'd be given a day to wear whatever we wanted and it was stressful going in and being judged 😂 though i suppose if it was every day people would get used to it quickly so it wouldn't be a big deal. At my school once you hit 6th form/A Level years/grade 12 and 13( ages 17/18) when it became optional to stay at school or go to a separate college we could wear whatever we wanted....within reason. Stupidest part was shorts weren't allowed but skirts were so when it was really hot any guy or girl preferring not to wear skirts or dresses (like myself) has to suffer the heat. After i left my school changed it so those years had to wear "business-wear" so basically like office clothes....which was stupid because our school specialises in design technology so if you continued with those subjects you were just covered in sawdust half the time anyway 😂 it was bad enough in our uniforms.

Like Roxy, I used to always think only private schools had uniforms, but The Wire taught me otherwise, lmao. Them kids in S4 went to a public school but had uniforms based on grade.

I'm from Brazil and I studied both in private and public schools (went public a year before HS) and ALWAYS were uniforms. No exception.
The only difference is that Private we would have to buy and it was unnecessarily expensive, the older we get, some schools stops being full uniforms and becomes only the T-shirt and gym shorts for P.E.
In Public schools the uniform is given by the government and some schools give the full fit: t-shirt, jeans and shoes, but the 4 different HS I went (major depressive episodes, dropped a few times for mental health sake), we received only T-shirts (except the first one I went to that I had to use my own clothes cuz they didn't receive new uniforms fow a whole semester, and at that time in that school it wasn't mandatory for us to wear uniform, but coming from private I was really used to wearing them and really didn't like wearing my own clothes. Was very pleased when I finally received that ugly Municipal uniform).

This movie is so damn good! It was in production for like 7 years cause it was originally made by Fox and shelved for awhile during the merger with Disney... they clearly came back after the acquisition and added the sequence where he pulls Cap's shield, got Chris Evans to come in do the Hulk fist and the lightsaber so time not fully wasted haha.

Roxy to answer your question I believe I was lucky enough to graduate before my public High School had to start wearing uniforms outside of the gym usuals. I personally think it was mostly related to what might have been going on at the time and the change could have been necessary but I honestly don't remember since it was back in 2001 when I graduated.
I went to a public school with uniforms. I'm from Canada though, seems must be more common up here given Roxy's surprise.

and about the uniforms, I'm Kuwaiti and live in Kuwait, all students wear uniforms whether it's a private or public school.
I'm with wearing uniforms cause what if some people get embarrassed of the fact that they can't afford to buy the clothes they like and don't want to go to school wearing the ones they (hate/only can afford)
