  • Beef bourguignon also known as Beef Burgundy, is a classic French recipe for a beef stew, slow-cooked in flavourful and rich red wine sauce.
    Ingredients
    Butter 3 tsp.
    Bacon (small squared) 80 gm.
    Beef Scotch (diced) 1 kg.
    Onion (diced) 1 big-sized
    Button Mushrooms (quartered) 4 pcs.
    Pearl Onions 100 gm.
    Garlic (chopped) 7 cloves
    Carrots (sliced) 1 big-sized
    Salt to taste
    Crushed Peppercorns to taste
    Red Wine 300 ml.
    Fresh Rosemary (bundled) 1 sprig
    Fresh Thyme (bundled) 2 sprigs
    Fresh Parsley (chopped) 2 sprigs
    Beef Stock 2 cups
    Cognac 50 ml.
    Marble Potatoes (halved) 4 pcs.
    Flour as needed
    Garnish
    Bouquet Garni (Fresh Rosemary and Thyme)
