This video brought back so many memories. I was absolutely glued to my TV the entire time. I used to go to Six Flags a lot as a kid in the 80's (I was even there the day of the Rail Blazer [alleged] accident), and I have a weirdly comprehensive recall of the park, the old rides, etc., from back in the day. Thank you so much for posting this!

During a school class trip in 1990, one of the students got caught to trying to steal from a gift shop, the teachers in our group with us were not happy and that student was sent back to the grey hound bus in the parking lot and had to stay locked in the bus for the rest of the day.

I agree about Boomerang. The best thing about is definitely the paint job. Unfortunately my son loves it, so I’m riding it.

Not sure on what day you went there, but one thing's for sure the park look mighty empty of guests. Absolutely pitiful
