I love living in St. Louis. Your video was fun to watch. The reason the zoo, art museum, and other locations are zero cost to enter is that the residents of the city and county pay a small amount of property taxes into a fund that supports those attractions.
Just visited the city for the first time and was very impressed! Fairly clean with flowers through the city, Everyone we met were friendly . We enjoyed the Gateway Arch and a St. Louis Cardinals game!
Being born and raised in St. Louis, I thank you for making this video. I now live in Los Angeles but I do miss that city. So many memories for me. It is a small city but a good one. No city is perfect but some are better than others. St. Louis is one of the better ones. The food too is great. Ted Drewes frozen custard, Bar-B-Q, and their great Italian restaurants. I hope to return one day. 😎
Really good video on St Louis guys. My son & myself have a bucket list to see all 30 MLB stadiums (we've been to 16 so far) & St Louis is next up this Aug.. your vid was very infromative Thx
Haha, they keep tearing down the stadiums we go to, and our count goes back down 😆😆😆. Busch Stadium was a great experience. And while you're there, there's plenty more to see in St Louis.
Thanks for the great video of our city guys! Glad you had a good time and there is so much more to see, like Soulard Market' Union Station, and the West End and Loop entertainment areas. Come back!
You guys did my hometown! And did a superb job covering all the best parts, I must say. I first discovered your channel because you guys made an excellent video about the Steamboat museum in Kansas City, I was feeling nostalgic remembering visiting the big wheel in early elementary school. Can't wait to see where you visit next!
Good video of St. Louis but my number 10 instead of the City sculpture garden would have been Union Station. The current owner has really restored and turned it in to an entertainment venue. It no longer serves rail travel but the AMTRAK station is only a very close walk across the street and a great place to stay is its hotel. It now includes an aquarium and Giant ferris wheel among other attractions. The reason you would have enjoyed it so much however is the architecture inside and outside this great rail station from the past. There is an indoor light show in its grand hotel lobby. The new soccer stadium just built for its new team is really well done but I am sure you have seen plenty of soccer (football). I am glad you enjoyed your stay in St. Louis. It was funny how I am a huge baseball fan and it was great you included the Cardinals Hall of Fame museum. Like you my favories are the large models of the two previous ballparks also called Busch stadium that bring back great memories for me.
You both did an excellent job showing our city and its history. There is no entrance fee to visit the Zoo and Grants Farm and museum except parking fee. Also Saint Louis has amazing Restaurants and famous Ted Drews Custards ! Added place would be the union station aswell .
I actually been to the Gateway Arch, and it was amazing. We had to go to Virginia for my Great Aunt's funeral and we took a long road trip. One of my favorite thing I wanted to do is to see the Gateway Arch. Even though our trip was stressful, I love the Gateway Arch
Great video! It might be worth noting that you can visit the museum under the Arch for free, you just have to go through security as they don't check tickets until you line up for the trams.
I'm heading to St Louis in May. I'm going to see my baseball team (Boston Red Sox) play the Cardinals but I am going to hit up the arch, and likely the zoo. But it looks like I will have a good time in St Louis. Thanks for the tips
A small correction----The World's Fair Pavillion was not actually present at the fair. It was built later to commemorate the event. The Art Museum does date from 1904 however.
One mistake guys is the Pavilion is not from the 1904 World's fair. People make that mistake all the time. It was built from profits from the fair and built in 1912. Just to let you know.
@@JamesandLaurent I’m like asking a question not trying to “attack” because when I search this place up I all I see is “people killed” so I’m confused, it looks very nice on this video
This is the best St Louis video Ive watched. Thank you. Im studying up for my roadtrip.
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the clarification. We hate having incorrect information in our videos 😌.
The Cathedral is open to tourists?
It sure is :)
@@JamesandLaurent -- Thank you!
OK, this stuff all sounds fine, but what about the best places to get ribs and hear the blues?
We never feature venues and restaurants in our videos because they come and go faster than our videos' run.
Pappy's for ribs and either BBs, Blue strawberry or Hammerstones for blues.

Thanks 😍!
Take Robert here Saturday. Take off early. Takes 5 or 6 hours to get to. Stay 2 days.
Thanks for your comment.

Is this the place with a lot of gangs?
Isn't that the case for any large city?

Buy all the Bedweiser Beer memorabilia youcan imagine, because they're going out of business soon.
Haha, we filmed this video last summer. Different times :).

That was a heron not a crane
