I have 950 miles on my Turbo R 4 Ultimate. Well built across the spectrum. Polaris has really stepped-up their game from a quality perspective with the Turbo R. It has exceeded expectations.
@@albertlopez5465 It is crazy how many miles my wife and I put on these vehicles. We love riding! We put between 3000 and 4000 miles per year. Combined, we have over 20K off-road miles on the 5 SXS's we have owned.
Any regrets compared to pro r? Keep thinking the turbo r might make more sense for our first sxs (car racing family that is adventurous). But also loved the NA engine

We might be at the peak. At what point is too much. The trails are going to have to be as wide as the hwy to fit this thing. I will stick to the perfect size an atv.
I have a Turbo R. My buddy has a Pro XP. I make it through every trail he does. If I needed to make a 3 point turn he did also. Turbo R is far superior machine for about the same price also
It’s so crazy to think that not that long ago the only side by sides were ranch vehicles. Now we have stuff like this! I don’t even know if this should be called a side by side I mean it’s in a class of it’s own
I've been hearing RUMORS that can am will be going all out on the 2023 X3 (more then likely out of retaliation) with a 1.3L TT 4 cyl mated with a DCT. These are probably fake but who knows. But would it be better then the pro R. What you guys think?
@Jayden Lobbezoo where'd you hear that? Wondering because I'd like to read the article/see the video for myself. I kind of like speculating what's gonna happen next in the offroad world but I haven't found much about a new can am.
I remember when my buddies were riding raptors and banshees camping out on pismo beach. i was the first to take a Yamaha rhino out and leaving my quad at home and everyone laughed at me.
Actually, never mind, 181 hp seems like it's not that big of an upgrade considering the RZR Turbo S (which is quite a bit cheaper and less powerful) has 168. 🤦♂️
I waited 9 months for mine to show up but after polaris delayed it then raised the price plus added a ridiculous markup for shipping I told the dealer to switch my order to a can am x3 xrs ss max. Sorry but for the money out the door the polaris was 8k more. I can do a lot of upgrades for 8k and I still think the x3 motor trans combo is superior to polaris. Hopefully polaris will learn a lesson from this. I know I'm not the only one canceling their order and switching brands
You can have all this for over 40k….tell your wife, she can stay in that 10 year old plus car with 200k miles, we only have enough budget for a 40k side by side that is used 4 times a year…. Polaris gets it! (Sarcasm)
The price of these things is unreal, but we love off-roading. Most of these new sport SXS's come with the upgrades you end up paying extra for aftermarket. We bought a new Yamaha YXZ back in 2016, and by the time I was done with all the mods needed I was over 40K into it, and it was only a two seater. My Turbo R only needed a few accessories, and I was done! Pay me now or pay me later. Upgrades are worth more if they come from the factory.
@@rodneysessions7463 Fair point! I agree with that. One thing yet to be seen is the overall impact. We are facing another recession and the last influx of sport vehicles came in the 450r atv expansion. It dwindled in less that 5 years and now completely gone except for the Yamaha. I see the same thing happening to these big sxs brands
