I love my Ultra Light model Traveler guitar. 24.75 scale length, like Gibson, if I recall correctly. It is compact, but feels like full size with the scale length, etc.I got a red one with a white pick up. Looks and sounds awesome. I love modding. So I installed a DiMarzio Super Distortion, locking tuners, dressed the fret ends and polished the frets. The guitar stays in tune all the time. Shipped fron Tucson, Arizona to Sydney, Australia in shipping container during pandemic. 1 year in-transit and storage. Got it out and all it needed was to be tuned a little. Set up was still perfect. The thing is stable and nearly bullet proof. If something happened to mine, I would definitely replace it.
I just took my Eart headless on vacation. Always takes me a couple of days to adjust to the visual difference of a headless guitar and keep my fretting hand in the right place!
I think the output jack would feel less awkward when using a small headphone amp, so it might be on purpose, seeing how this would mainly be used to get some guitar practice while visiting your mother-in-law
Always enjoy your vids. Just enough silly to stop the serious but still be informational! I've got an older traveller guitar (EG-1 Escape I think...no assembly required). Changed the strings a couple of times. No big whoop. But...just make sure when you clip the excess string from the tuners, that you cut them short enough or bend them so they don't poke you in the stomach (or wherever you rest your guitar...probably not your feet though...strap's too long then).
I like the concept, super compact, super light, and I like the neck on mine. The tuning was the problem for me, those wheels at the end where the strings go round before wrapping back to the tuners would always stick or bind, and ends of strings would always poke out. Just recently I replaced the whole tuning system with the kind they have on Eart headless. $35 from China and a bit of judicious diy routing. Night and day. Stays in tune, and if it does go out it’s quick and easy to tune up again. They should really move on to something like that, drop the wacky tuning setup even if it’s unique to them.
The way it sounds is a winner. Back in the early neolithic when I was 16/17 my friend had a headless ibanez that was a really cool guitar. I think the tuners inside the body is a bit weird on any guitar, but that thing sounds fckn good. If it sounds good and feels good to play, it's a good guitar in my opinion
Sounds great, and would be awesome for traveling. However, the muted tone was non existent, probably because of where your palm fell. Hard to get percussion?
I hang my string instruments by their neck. This would be a funny contrast for sure. Like the sound flexibility but not the price. Not having a head does mean some disorientation. No zero fret? Would be interesting to compare with the cheaper Donner version.
price point and utility, but point taken. FWIW we don't consider ourselves a "headless guitar" company; we're a travel guitar company and we make our guitars headless because that makes them more compact.
@@landonbailey Oh i did, and yes, your pronounciation was on point then too, but I figured you only learned how to say one word, not learn french as a whole. It's such a hard language to learn for non native speakers.
The guitar is okay and all… … but to those who will eventually hock these things at the local pawn shop (and YOU WILL be hocking them), please please PLEASE make sure to include the little forearm and lap bits in the package as well. I couldn’t tell you how many times I saw an incomplete Traveller guitar geddup for sale (at almost FULL price) at the local Gold and Pawn. Doesn’t exactly help to have to choke back week-old Eastern European sweat and stogie stench while trying to get Tibor to gimme the 3% discount on said hocked travel guitar, either.
I owned an EG-1 Custom and currently own a EG-2, which sits better for me. I travel a lot, and they certainly beat trying to find the end of the internet.
Weird is good

I'd mostly play that at night... mostly.
Looks good w/that Bowie t-shirt.

Spunds pretty good..nice on the opening George Harrison tune. I wonder how these compare to the Donner- X travel type headless guitar?
Hi Landon. What a surprise to suddenly hear some french. Congrats. Very nice accent. Bonne journée et merci pour tout. Olivier.
Really is impressive how much guitar they pack into that little case.
Traveler Mod-X upper bout needs some Xenomorph details painted on, then this would be cool!
The deneuarlizer brought the memories back. You are thinking about the neuralizer
the important part of the video!
Sounds interesting. How bad is the neck dive. Does It come in a bass version?
I didn't notice any neck dive.
100% accurate, that’s the outline of a xenomorph.
That’s the guitar The Predator plays.

They seem to be £465 here in the UK. That's more than I would (currently) spend on a guitar, but it seems like a good guitar.

My experience was that however short the strings were cut I could always feel them, maybe that’s my flab of course 😊

They made an Ltd Eclipse traveler guitar
Btw you put the armrest upside down…..
you can put it however you like :)
@@landonbailey 👍you proved it

When stacked up agaisnt a good headless guitar I just can't see a reason for these.

I love the traveler guitars. Really feel like bigger guitars when you play them.
Ripley would be proud! 😂
That french was not bad! That took me by surprise. Love from Québec!
You should see my Godin videos!

Got one for my birthday 2 weeks ago 😂.
It’s fantastic (as a travel guitar).
Ey Landon, can you try the Katana Go? I would love to hear your impressions with a few bad jokes about that.
Street Spirit guitar
I can’t think of anything clever to say. So, I’ll just say that intro was awesome. That’s clever enough.
Had a traveler guitar but I chose to travel without it. Then sold it to a tourist..... Best decision ever.
My first thought was xeno-guitar. Looks niftyy

It actually sounds really good 😮
The lick from the George Harrison song souned.......... suprising!?!
Da Phuoc? Lol. That’s crazy.
The neck could be the extruding jaws.. 😮
you can bring the guitar anywhere, but you still need an amp.
Oh look! An IKEA Guitar!
I actually love this
It's an ugly guitar that I wouldn't be upset to own. It's more stylish than John Lennon's Sardonyx electric guitar.
I like your French ..🐸approved ..... Weird guitar ... dont look comfortable ... ..
