@@DominicPiscopoFigidiniHill i basically made it into a similar shape to jerry Garcia's tiger guitar with a small hand saw and files coated it with tung oil and added a single Gretch lap steel pickup and it plays great . i really agree that learning how to build guitars or atleast modify them improves your playing .... lmao the top cutaway on the tele feels like a spell of anti ergonomics or something
Stumbled onto this channel, very cool stuff, had to subscribe!

great build
@@tannermcintosh1071 Thank you!
It has a bit of a Parker fly vibe going on!
@@AndrewAHayes There’s definitely some cross pollination! The original Fender Performer dates from 1985 and the Fly was released in 1993.
i did a very similar thing to a tele and it went from basically unplayed to the guitar i keep around me at all times
@@tannermcintosh1071 What did you do to yours? I sold my Tele after banging my hand on the cramped cutaway too many times.

@@DominicPiscopoFigidiniHill the shape is actually quite performer like
@@tannermcintosh1071 I’ve seen a few Tiger inspired builds that look like the Performer.
