Thrawn Thrawn Thrawn Thrawn !
Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!
Thrawn Thrawn Thrawn Thrawn !
Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!
Fall in
Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!
This show has been movie quality since the very beginning. So many gorgeous shots from the whales in space, to the ring of bones, to the Star Destroyer. The quality has been top tier with almost perfect use of the volume.
No, when Ahsoka first cut a hole in the ground spinning her lightsabers, the ffect where she fell down and landed insid the temple looked so cheap. TV shows still don’t have the movie quality you’re talking about.
6:07 If the rumors are true, these troopers are...well, just use your imagination as to why Thrawn allied himself with the Nightsisters to rebuild his forces quicker.
There Night Troopers
The subtitles referred to them as “Night Troopers”! They’re either Night Brothers or zombies. Either way, I’m HERE FOR IT!!!
@@Hellbilly709 The rumor was that they are all like Marrock, zombie bodies reanimated by Nightsister magicks.
Thrawn & Morgan DID speak about "catacombs" in episode 6 & many people kept their dead in such places in the past. It might also explain why Thrawn's right-hand soldier seems to have a "death heads" mask on his faceplate.
Great reaction, Gentlemen. It was an excellent episode. I think Sabine was MEANT to find Ezra...that's why it didn't take a length of time to find him.
It's one of those things that I just choose to believe. Like, "uh huh, yep, yep, they weren't finding them because they keep moving and Thrawn is short in supplies. Yep, not gonna think deeper about it. I'm good" because I really didn't want them to spend several episodes looking for him... so.. yep! All checks out! lol.
@@Saphthings two days ago I rewatched all the episodes with a friend who hadn't watched the series.
I realized how different it feels when you watch it on a weekly basis compared to watching all the episodes at once.
That made me think it's a bit silly how fast things developed. They introduce this character called Sabine, you start to get familiarized with her and... she's gone with the bad guys now (Note that I have watched all the animated series, but I still try to judge this series for what it is. It should be able to stand by itself IMO).
Or we see Ahsoka at her lowest point and minutes later she's over it.
Same thing with Ezra: they spend a significant amount of time telling us how it's been years since the last time they've seen Ezra. And again, just a couple of hours later, he's casually standing there.
Don't get me wrong. I don't want to spend 4 seasons trying to find Ezra, and I also wanted to see him in this episode, but I recognize that the immediacy of it makes it seem a bit pointless.
Let's take rebels as an example: they set up this mystery of "Fulcrum". Very sporadically we see hints about who that could be. It's spread across several episodes. IIRC, we had to wait an entire season to discover who that is.
Maybe that's the problem, Filoni's pacing doesn't translate well to relatively short live action projects. I've also noticed other "mistakes".
There's 2 episodes left and we still don't know Baylan's *concrete* goals. Everything about him remains very superficial. While some of the ideas are cool in the context of the SW universe, "cool" isn't enough to make you care or root for a character. Same thing with Shin, or Morgan Elsbeth or Thrawn himself. I fear that this series will leave us with a bunch of cool concepts, "mystery boxes" like J.J Abrams describe them, and leave us without a satisfying payoff.
As always, appreciate your support! We're stoked for the rest of this season!
I think Thrawns look works a lot because it’s been 9 years since he was exiled with Ezra. His suit is worn and he’s less slender, it’s as if he’s hanging on by his last thread.
Right, Thrawn’s in his 60s now.
I love that the Night Sisters dark magick creates constant actual “wind” for them, despite it not being windy for anyone else. Such amazing little details that make them so unnerving. 🧙♀️
The fact that Thrawn was able to keep his army together for this long in exile says a LOT: both about him, and how fanatic and dangerous his army is going to be.
and using kentsugi to repair the armour is very thrawn, he adores art and culture, so of course he would use gold to be creative with repairs
Im pretty sure they are under knight sister magic
He didn't keep shit, those dead soldiers were raised from the dead.
HOLY SHIT MAN LOVE HIS ENTERNCE
I think the ones with most red on their armour have been resurrected by the sisters and the ones with grey and white are the original troops still remainin when ezra took the ship away with the whales
5:22 LMAO my coffee almost shot out my nose...
you guys are hilarious lmao
watching you guys from now on, the energy! 😅😂💥
Live this series so miccchhh #AHSOKA
You gambled the fate of your galaxy on that belief.
It’s so nice to see unbridled enthusiasm for media (esp. SW media) for a change. So sick of channels that feel the need to nitpick literally EVERY little detail to death and then some. 🙄
What's Sabine's problem with telling the whole truth? That's important info on how she got here and what's happening. After six episodes I have to say I don't like her attitude to all this, it places people in danger.
You guys' tepid reaction to finally actually seeing Ezra in person was almost as energetic as Sabine's reaction when she finally saw him. 😀
Undead stromtrooper ☠️😵❤️
Man, gotta love how they are laid back when seen Ezra for the fist time, and as soon as the Grand Admiral is on screen they sit at the edge of their seats
About Thrawn being “huge”: The actor is 6’4”, which is not unusual for a Danish man, which Lars Mikkelsen is.
I love their energy lol
find someone as excited to see as these boys are to see thrawn
I love the fact they have used the gold to repair their armors like the Japanese practice.
lmao it was written. so well
I’m surprised no one made the SP crab people joke when watching this episode.
Those soldiers are zombies, but not traditional zombies that return as something else and start acting like rabid animals/eat brains, they are brought back to full functioning human, but probably beat up, sustaining whatever injuries or deterioration takes place in between dying and being raised. They probably look spooky, but they maintain their personalities or are possessed. It will be much freakier than people think (which makes the story awesome). All of this fits in well with the fact that Thrawn is basically space-Dracula and his theme is like a funerary procession.
Thrawn Ezra Thrawn Ezra AHHHHHH !! Best episode yet! I don’t know how people hate this show. (Yes, I am indeed a super big Rebels fan.)
Theyre more like hermit crabs than turtles.
my guy said is thaat ezra
How about Enoch (badass night trooper w/ gold face) being played by the same Actor as Amos in Expanse.... Come on man. So good.
Canon zombie stormtroopers people
i bet u fellas vote for trudont
I feel like Disney is just using Hayden Christensen to "revive" most of the projects now. Not complaining though!
Why are you reacting with a black and white screen ? Others reactors dont so its not a copyright issue?
All the new Star Wars fans are wondering who Thrawn is. Grand Admiral Thrawn is bad news for peace. Watch Star Wars rebels to better understand how he is as a character. I don’t want to spoil. He’s very formal but at the same time extremely dangerous and manipulative.
Atleast make the episode a bit bigger instead of a tiny little gray square
Loved the episode, only two issues: My 13 year old super fan son upon seeing Thrawn jumped out of his chair and said, "Aw they butchered him!" Did not like the way Thrawn looks at all. And second is just Sabine. The actress is garbage. Plays the character so out of tone and annoying.
The world building though of the episode was great. Baylon was great.
I'd rate the episode a 2/10 as an episode and 9/10 on worldbuilding. We just got more questions and very little answers. The potential with this is great, for books, comics, spin offs and etc, and when the full series is out and someone watches it's great for exposition and pacing. But right now as I'm waiting weekly for each episode, especially after the masterpiece that was last week, I'm a little like Carlson when he asked about Jacen. "ok... anyways what's next?". I'm also slowly more interested in Baylan, Shin and Jedi/Nightsisters than Thrawn. I like the fantasy side of Star Wars. The force, lightsabers, duels, etc, not so much the politics/war and etc (like Andor). It's clearly meant to be setting up what comes next and great for the pacing, and I super appreciate us already getting the Thrawn and Ezra reveal so we can jump right into other things next episode.
Oh and I absolutely loved the little easter eggs like "long time ago in a galaxy far far away". Loving these little callbacks.
Do you need to have feet in the picture too? It is really distracting.
Also the guys on the left have some weird toes on his left foot.... eww
