I've been struggling to find my way around the interface and creating stuff in Cinema 4D, both on my own and through various other TH-cam videos, with little success and severe frustration, and was on the verge of giving it up as a bad idea. However, I stumbled across your series tonight and after watching the first two videos in your series have learned so much and regained my motivation. Thanks for that Christoph. Love your style and your detailed explanations of the tools and methods and am now looking forward to continuing on the path you've laid out for me. Huge thanks.
Watched your whole series and I think these are much clearer than other tutorials I've seen on the same subject. Your approach of identifying the tools and giving a simple illustration of how they work is a much better approach then I have seen from others. Id love to see to something on sculpturing or a show and tell on the proper approach to sculpturing. There are bunch of videos on building cars etc that don't make as much sense to me as what you have done here.
I'm using C4d Lite to learn before I take the plunge on buying a subscription. For those doing the same thing: Generators are under the "create" tab at the top Spline shapes are right above the "add cube" button to the right The spline pen is in the menu on the left and he has a video going over the updates to it because it doesn't work "quite" like this anymore you can make a B spline/linear/etc. in the properties of a spline you've already created
