Excellent, thank you , Magdalena. Always refreshing to revisit T de M. I go in streaks and am currently in a vintage Rider Waite streak, but maybe this video will cause me to get out my T de M's. Did I tell you that I was able to obtain Robledo's 2nd edition deck. There were only about 11 copies made! It's quite special. Thanks you, Anne
The Robledo is my favorite TdM too! It's really lovely, from the colors, the beige background, the size, the cardstock, everything! Aong my large TdM collection (about 50 TdMs), the Robledo is the one I consistently use when reading TdM. It is also now reprinted, so for people who want it, the price should be decent again ;)
Yes, this deck is jus perfection, isn't it! I was so happy to see the news about the reprint, I think a back up copy might be my Christmas present, heehee :D Nice to see you back, Michael! :)
Hello Magdalena. Thanks a lot for all your wonderful videos. About this one, I have to say (at 4:57) that Jodorowsky didn't add the egg in 'Le Monde'. You can see it on the standard Grimaud designed by Paul Marteau in 1930 if you look carefully. The egg Jodorosky added by himself is in 'La papesse' (The high priest). This egg help the beginer to understand better the second arcana meaning. Maybe the Jodo-Camoin is not the best Tarot in terms of authenticity but it is one the best tools to learn reading for sure.
@@wolfofcoins everything! haha ..i have just put a couple of videos up about how i came to tarot and my initial study of marseille ..you can find them if you put in T for Tarot by Madwitch ..and updated one is going on today . so if you can guide me or do a beginners series i would be delighted ! ..ill def message questions too but they might seem random haha Gx
I’m brand new to TdM and totally in love with your channel!! I’m really curious about how you choose which deck you want to use for a reading. I first picked up the Golden Tarot de Marseille (based on Claude Burdel’s 1751 deck), but I’m also really attracted to the Edition Millennium and the Dodal art. Is it crazy to get them all when I’m just starting out? 😳😂🥰
Haha, I know how you feel! It's hard to resist these gorgeous decks! I usually just pick a deck that I feel like using... it's that simple :D I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos, thank you for watching!
Hello~! As a totally beginner for Marseille Tarot, I’m wondering is it suitable to buy the Ancient Italian tarot as the first Marseille tarot to learn or study on even though I know Marseille tarot is very historical tarot and it not really suitable to have a huge change just like the rider Waite Tarot on the graphs of the card.😊
Hi! In my opinion if you want to work with a Tarot de Marseille deck, it's a better idea to get a traditionally Marseille one rather than the Ancient Italian which is much more realistic than the woodcut images of older decks. Right now there are even more easily available TdM's, maybe I should do an update video on that topic :)
@@wolfofcoins thank you so much for answering my question I’ve been trapped in this question for a while. As what you said in the video and what you replied to me, I bought the CBD Marseille eventually and it is fantastic. I’m appreciate it!!!❤
Cool decks. Im looking into learning TDM. But i AM a bit confused. I got a downloadable deck, but its only 22 cards. I downloaded it from Jodorowskys page. I understood that these 22 cards are a full usable smaller version of the full Marseille deck. But are these just the arcanes, and i need to get the other cards to have a 70 some cards deck? great video, beautiful decks. Happy readings
Some people, especially in Europe, read with only 22 Atouts, but if you wish to have a full tarot deck, you need the other 56 cards as well. I recommend downloading 78 cards from Dr. Yoav Ben-Dov's page, they are for free: www.cbdtarot.com It seems that at the moment the page is under maintainance, hopefully it will be back soon.
@@wolfofcoins thank you buddy. In the meanwhile i have Dove into it and understood it. Major and minor Arcana. I AM also finishing to read/study Jodorowskys book on it. But i Will download that deck as well, thank you. All the best
Thank you! :) Oh, I thought about including it, but 1. It doesn't have numbers on the pips (which may be a bit difficult for newbies) and 2. Some images are different than in our most known TdM decks, because Wilfried flipped them in a mirror reflection, so it might be confusing when you're just starting (and you're e.g. using a book to study, with a different deck).
I'm glad I started with the tarot de Marseille because it helped me with my intuition
I'm so glad I found you as I begin to learn about Tarot de Marseille. I've loved all your content so far. Thank you so much for sharing!

New to TdM so this was exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.
Just got my CBD Tarot de Marseille thanks to your suggestions, Magdalena! Thank you very very much for such helpful tips. I'm very pleased with it.
Oh yaay, congrats on getting your TdM deck! I hope you'll enjoy working with it :)

I don't know why the eggs creep me out

Great choices! I learnt with the Noblet but have a soft spot for the Dodal and its googly eyes! 😀
I know right?! :D The pissed off, sleep deprived Queen of Batons is my fave! xD

When you read the cards is it true they must be bought for you or can you buy your own
You can absolutely buy them yourself :)
tarot cards were made for games, like how tennis shoes arent always used for tennis llol peace out
the people and animals in the cards look stoned lol
Yeah, they do xD
