Could you please make a video from spot white and spot gloss I will be printing uv dtf sticker and need to learn this I like how tou explained everything
Hi Matt! Thanks for the super helpful video. I want to know how did u create/add the texture in the ribbon artwork. Really love the effect on that. Hope to hear from you soon! Cheers Christina x
That ribbon artwork was likely screen printed with a distressed effect on it. So you'd want to use a similar looking texture. Here is a product I made for Photoshop, but you can do this with textures in Illustrator too: crmrkt.com/eK5jox Just search for similar textures or products around wood block printing / screen printing texture packs. :)
Tune Yards! 👌
Helpful vedio bro. thanik you.

awesomeness !!! thank you :D
Another excellent video explanation ! Thanks Matt,...youdaman.
For some reason when apply multiply it isn’t working...any ideas of what I’m doing wrong??
Make sure the object is selected before applying.
Also make sure that the layer you're applying the multiply to is on top.
thanks alot
I don't know why, but I'm trying to do it in my illustrator, but it doesn't work...
perfect
why don't some colors work in overprint, while some others do? all CMYK process colors and set to overprint fill
Very few colors actually work well together. Most turn into a muddy brown. Just the nature of the beast.
@@MattBorchert thanks. but what i’m more curious is why some don’t work at all, like they just become “knockout” with no overprint effect
I'm sorry, but that isn't a real overprinting technic. 😞
Well you'd need to actually be physically printing to make it real. :)
